After watching the Thursday night @#$%show of a game, all I can say is MY GOD is St Louis AWFUL.

I mean they are BEYOND awful.

And Bradford sucks as an NFL QB.

If I was a Rams fan and season ticket holder, I'd sue the team for putting such an embarrassing team on the field.

George:

My Niners needed a win bad. Thankfully they were playing the Rams.

On the bad side, that was an awful game to watch. Monday night was a blowout and tonight is even worse. Niners/Rams is a Sunday regional matchup not a showcase game.

They really need to do away with the Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games if they can't showcase better match ups.

I think the next Thursday night game is Browns/Bills.

Seriously?

Nevermind the popcorn, pass the poison to put me out of my misery.

I see Boldin was in beast mode again last night; that has to go down as one of THE dumbest trades I've ever seen, Boldin for a bag of footballs, two roles of tape and four jock straps.

Or send them back to LA where they belong! The Rams were looking much improved last year under Jeff Fisher. They made a big trade and brought in several players. I'm not sure what is going on this year.

Shocker of the day?? Cleveland!!!!! who'd thonk it:)..a 3rd string or somebody comes out and beats a good Vikings team?? ..got to love this game:)...Sammy

I'm a bit late to the party...but the Vikings a 'good' team? Those of us up north sure don't think so!!!

It's time for the Vikings 'bring in the washed up old quarterback' carousel to get rolling once again!

Hey, don't be bringing down my favorite NFC team from the late 1960's and 1970's, loved the Vikings back in the day........^&grin, all four super bowl losses were painful for me.

And right on cue, in steps Matt Cassel..............

Ravens lose, Steelers lose, Giants lose.

Steelers and Giants both fall to 0-4.

Still plenty of time left for the Giants to finish 7-9, win the NFC LEAST and get a home Super Bowl game.

Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles all losing early.

Still want to argue the NFC East is better than the AFC East Louis as I'm all ears................:rolleyes2:

wow, what a dismal performance for my ravens:mad:..with cinny losing a great chance to make a early move to the front of the afc north, but to me they took a step backwards and it's going to be a hard fix for both offense and defense, oh well at least we are still in first place:)...sammy

Well, the Skins managed to beat the Raiders (but so do most teams), but as we keep saying a win is a win is a win. And we'll gladly keep it. Boy, the NFC East is a mess. Perfectly possible an 8-8 record will take it. I refuse to concede a 7-9 record as a playoff eligible record. If that happens, the team should just forfeit their playoff game in the name of good sportsmanship.:wink2: Bad day for the Ravens though. Their receivers desperately need a tip drill or more stickum on the hands. I am shocked by the 0-4 records of the Steelers and Giants. Never saw it coming. That rickedy old Qb in Denver just keeps getting better. -- Al

Al:

I think what they should do is take away the playoff home game if you win your division at 7-9 and make them go on the road against the wild card team.

Seems reasonable and it certainly is the least they could do. Perhaps the NFL should just make a losing record ineligible for the playoffs. Win your division with a 7-9 record? Tough. No rep from that division. Spot goes to next best record amongst eligible teams, .500 or better. ^&grin -- Al

Good call.

I'd rather that you didn't. Why do I have a nagging suspicion that when the Jets sent Sanchez into the Giants game, they didn't mind that he might get hurt?

The baseball season has just ended in NY and it looks like the football season has already ended.

Interesting fact about USC QB's:

No USC QB has started a Super Bowl and won ... no USC QB has started a Super Bowl and lost, either.

Well him getting hurt made their decision to switch QB's a lot easier, that's for sure.

And either The Titans are really good or the Jets really bad, not sure which is which...............

Why did Baltimore release Stokley??????
According to reports it was a roster numbers move as the Raven's signed a 3rd tight end for today's game. Raven's could resign Stokley this week. He had been injured and on the inactive list. -- Al
