Nfl 2014 (2 Viewers)

Best game of the day yesterday was Dallas/Seattle; Dallas dominated on both sides of the ball, Seattle scored off a blocked punt, a fumbled punt and off of a Romo fumble, other than that, they did nothing all game long, Dallas looks really, really good at the moment.

Nice to see Pete the poodle with that "***" look on his face; I'm used to seeing that from his days here in New England, he looked like that A LOT in the three years he was here........

I really enjoyed that game...after several years of boring 1st round picks for offensive lineman...I'm finally seeing results in QB protection and especially the running game...

that jerk on ESPN...Stephen A. Smith...who always trash talks the Cowboy's organization...wagered Skip Bayless...in one of his customary obnoxious, overbearing, "know it all", heated diatribes...that he would wear a Cowboy's jersey and hat on his b'day...if the Cowboy's lost by less than 8 points...Smith hates Romo and the Cowboys...

was delighted to see them win outright...maybe he will shut up for a bit on them...I can't stand that fool...

Brady looked good in the second half...he covered the Las Vegas -4...

what is it George...22 of the last 24...or something like that...^&grin

If the Cowboys at 4-1 are the best team in the NFL it is worth noting that the Niners are the team that beat them.

The same goes for the Eagles.

Jason...

I was not implying they are the best team in the NFL...

but...

the Cowboys are 5-1 right now...

After 6 weeks in the NFL can't really say if anyone is a clear cut favorite in any division, the Colts clearly will win the South, looks like the Pats have thier issues worked out but some serious injuries to Mayo/Ridley yesterday, the 49'ers/Cards/Seahawks in a dog fight here in the West, the AFC North to me is still a 4 team race, the Steelers will get better and if the Ravens can fix that poor passing defense they can be serious contenders, the Cowboys, Eagles fighting it out East as I see the Giants as a 9-7, 8-8 team and now with Cruz done with acl injury only that much harder for Eli, the Broncos better keep pace with the Chargers who look for real this year, solid running game as well as Rivers playing solid ball (without tossing ints all day) no doubt this season is going to have alot of division winners come down to last game of the season, should be lots of fun...Sammy

Mike:

I actually think they might be one of the best right now. They knocked off Seattle at Seattle. That in and of itself makes them worth considering as the best. Plus, I honestly feel that if they played the Niners again they would win. The Cowboys are a much different team in the last few weeks.

I am not as sold on the Eagles.

Jason...

I'm a big Cowboy fan...but I'm also a realist...and I don't think they are anywhere near the best team in the NFL...

if they played Seattle 10 times in Seattle...they would maybe beat them 2-3 times...

lucky for them...they have the best part of their schedule coming up...and they will probably be considered the favorite in all 3 games by Las Vegas oddsmakers...

NYG...
Washington...
Arizona...

all 3 at home...

then on to London to play the Jaguars...

but hey...

we might lose Randle for stealing underwear and cologne...hahahaha...

whaaaaaaaaaaaat is wrong with these guys...

The best part is that he stole a cologne called "Guilty"

It seems as though the only 2 teams without a chance are the Jags and Raiders!

I just saw the highlights from Thursday Night Football. The Pats looked good. Overcoming those types of injuries on defense is impressive.

The offense showed flashes last night, they got the job done when they needed to.

The defense; wow.

Just awful; over 400 yards of total offense.

From the Jets.

That was brutal, specifically their run defense, seemed like the Jets got 8 or 9 yards on every play.

Unless they fix things in a hurry, they're going nowhere this year.

Jets played well, but not well enough, unfortunately. The 58 yard FG attempt at the end of the game was blocked but I'm not sure Nick Folk would have made it. Possible but who knows. I suppose this is a second guess but instead for settling FGs, I would have tried to go on 4th Down. It did seem that wide open Pats receivers were dropping more balls than normal; I think Amendola was the biggest culprit there.

they pounded the ball on run offense down the Pat's throat...it was a combination of good running and poor tackling...a lot of times the defensive player made contact...but failed to execute...I couldn't believe how successful they were running the ball...218 yards rushing is just too much...

I just heard Seattle has traded Percy Harvin to the Jets.......................wow, ok then.

Can just see it now; after almost beating New England last night, sexy Rexy goes to his GM and says "Did you see that game last night, we ALMOST won..................Smith looked pretty good too, but he's got no weapons other than Decker, see what you can do because I'm telling you, if you can get me a guy, the tough part of our schedule is over, I think we can go 9-0 and make the playoffs................"

Good God is this team a train wreck..................

The Pats are dangerous coming off of a loss and even more dangerous after a sloppy win. No one makes adjustments better than Belichick.

Looks like the Superbowl hangovers are alive and well, the Seahawks get beat by a the Rams who are without thier no. 1 QB and were blowing the Seahawks out early and held on for the win, Hey Sherman, you mad bro?? ^&grin

Must say my Ravens looked decent, one of the top teams in points scored in the NFL now as well as the Raven defense being one of the stingiest in points allowed, good balance.

Cowboys are for real, another win for Dallas today.

And all those Brownie fans shouldn't plan on a Arizona vacation in Feb. just yet as they got smoked by the winless Jags, time for Johhny football maybe?:)...Sammy

the Cowboys were fun to watch today...it's just so unusual to see them have a lead...I hope it lasts through the next 3 games til "bye week"...

Whenever you have Aaron Rodgers, who is one of the best, you are.
