This is where I'm at now; I went to a friends house to watch the Patriots game last Sunday; I was bored to death, hung around till halftime and then went home.

Not to mention; all I heard and I mean ALL I HEARD the whole time I was there was "So and so caught a TD, that's 4 points for my team............oh, I knew I should have played so and so and sat Peterson today............so and so just ran in a TD, that's 3 fantasy points......"

Jesus, enough already with #$%^&@& fantasy football; THAT is why all the rules changes have eliminated defense, it's to cater to the fantasy morons................

Take this for what it is, but when I am in Texas I never hear about fantasy football. It is as if doing so would be a desecrating something that is sacred. In California however, everyone and their cat "plays" fantasy football. I never understood it and never got into it. ESPN even has whole parts with "experts" on Sportscenter dedicated to it. Whenever it comes on I grab the remote and change the channel.

So you're trying to tell me that watching the Vikings poop on themselves for a half wasn't riveting enough for you? Other than offense, defense, and special teams the Vikes are a team of destiny!

Well at least they'll be playing outdoors for the next two seasons, a definate HFA for the Vikings.

I was conflicted watching that because as you know padre, growing up I was a huge Vikings fan and I still am; the purple people eaters with Eller, Page, Marshall, Hilgenburg, Krause, Kapp, Tarkenton, White, on and on it goes.

Loved that team, those four SB losses crushed me, as did the NFCCG losses to Atlanta, the Giants, the Redskins and the Saints.

They are my favorite NFC team.

Those Viking SB teams were powerhouses and I still don't know what was lacking for victory. I do know that the loss to KC in SB IV was the game that convinced me that the AFC was on par with the NFC. SBIII was nothing but a fluke to me (still is:rolleyes2:), but SB IV was a game that I figured was a no-brainer in the Vikes favor. Almost as stunning as SB III. Kapp knocked out? No way. Those were great teams back then. -- Al

The Niners just can't do anything in the second half. And I don't care what the experts say, you can't win when your QB is consistently your leading rusher.

here's one for the books...I have never seen this before...

after dropping an easily catchable pass in the endzone...

St. Louis Ram's tightend...Jared Cook...

shoves his own quarterback Austin Davis on the sidelines...

a class act of magnanimous sportsmanlike proportion...

The Ravens Steve Smith talked alot about this game with the Panthers today and he backed up every word!!!:)...Sammy

Great win for the Niners today. Gore had a huge game and the defense did its job.

Plus, for the first time this season all of the pre-game talk during the week leading up to the game was not about Seattle and the focus seemed to be more on the immediate concern which was beating Philadelphia. A little focus goes a long way.

Through 4 games, I would never have guessed that the Cowboys would be 3-1 and the Saints would be 1-3.

Can't recall the last time the Pats looked so bad, no offense, no defense, no Brady at that, early in the season but the Pats are not the usual Pats of old...Sammy

Can't believe the SAINTS are 1-3 we don't get all the games here so when a SAINTS game is on im wrapped but it was painful watching the game yesterday.....{sm2}

Well on the bright side, think of all the points I'm going to earn with my girlfriend as I agree to go antique shopping, apple picking and wine tasting over the next 12 Sundays.........................:wink2:

I feel bad for Brady; he restructured his contract last year to free up money to resign Welker, but they let him walk and signed Amendola, who got hurt in the first game last year and hasn't been the same.

Then they trade his best offensive lineman away; their O line is terrible this year, beyond terrible.

Gronkowski is not 100%; doubt he'll ever be the player he was a few years ago, too many injuries. Brady has nobody to throw to; their offense is offensive and their defense is not much better.

They had a great run over the past 13 seasons, epic really; 3 titles, 5 trips to the Super Bowl, 8 trips to the AFCCG, an undefeated season, no losing seasons during that time, they missed the playoffs only twice in the past 13 seasons, incredible really.

You can't stay on top forever..........................

Don't write them off just yet. They're only 2-2 and the division is for crap.

By the way, George, Macintosh or Macoun ^&grin

I agree with Brad on this one, there is a long way to go and the Pats have been down this road before. They lost to the Niners by 41 points in 2012 and came back strong.

I got your back George, the Pats will beat Cinncy this Sunday...watch and see...Sammy

Based on today's Jets performance 0-28 so far, they should fire everybody, particularly the GM who is clueless and Rex too. Time for him to go.
