Sanchez had another good game yesterday. Now that he has a coach who knows offense, he's starting to shine. He must be glad to be away from the Jets even though he and Rex were close. The Village Idzik had a QB but didn't know it.

I'm happy to see Sanchez doing well after the beating he took with the Jets. May not last but it's good to see. -- Al

well...

Sanchez may have looked like a Hall of Famer MVP against Carolina's worst in the league defense...

but Green Bay is a different animal...

Saints lose another at home. That is an awful division.

They've become the Aints again, their fans should go back to wearing paper bags on their heads.

And the winner of that division gets a home playoff game.

Did you see the Bengal who scored the TD and tossed the ball into the stands to the female Bengals fan, only to have an Aints fan knock her out of the way and grab the ball. She begged him to give the ball to her, he just sat there.

What a ****head.

Real class act, embarrassing actually. And that guy is a Aints season ticket holder for years too.

I hope the Aints lose every game the rest of the year.

Just for him.

Green Bay is the best team in the NFC.

This week.

We'll see what happens when the Patriots go out there in two weeks, that will be an interesting game.

on Sanchez's interception return for a touchdown to Peppers just now...

Sanchez got a 15 yard penalty for a low block...

going at the knees of a Packer defensive player on the return...

that same guy is gonna line up against him after the extra point attempt...

not smart...

hehehe....{sm2}

Crazy NFL...the hot Atlanta Falcons (insert laugh track here) with a great win today 4-6 puts them in first place!!!! and down go the Browns!! from first place to last place in the AFC North with todays loss against the Texans, Browns may want to tone down all the Superbowl talk for awhile, and the unbeatable Broncos get smoked by the mighty Rams!! got to love that one...Sammy

49ers are extremely lucky so far. Eli has thrown 5 picks today.

Really classy move (not) at the press conference too when they asked Kaepernick if he felt empathy for Manning after seeing him throw 5 picks, he replied with a simple no. I am huge Niner fan but sometimes Kaepernick is difficult to cheer for.

I don't know if I agree Jason. He's trying to win a game and if some of those passes aren't intercepted they lose the game. Maybe if the 49ers had won comfortably, he could afford to be magnanimous but not in a game that was tight to the end. Neither team was impressive. The one player who stood out was Beckham. He is the real deal.

I can't wait to hear talk radio tomorrow on WFAN. Should be interesting.

tonight's late game should be a doozy too!

Or not.

The Colts are so one dimensional, couldn't stop the run, can't run the ball.

All week long the drive time talk radio guy here in Boston kept saying he'd take Luck over Brady.

Understood he's 15 years younger, but he was not that good tonight.

Doesn't get any easier the next three weeks; Detroit, at Green Bay, at San Diego.

Come out of that 2-1, win out vs the Bills, Jets and Doofins and they've got the #1 seed and HFA throughout the playoffs.

As long as Gronk stays away from Bernard Pollard, we're looking good.

The talk should be "How in the name of God did the Giants win not one, but two Super Bowls with this tomato can as our QB."

They should build a statue of him in Central Park and kiss the ground he walks on.

Him and Grampy the coach.

This is football at it's finest, Al will appreciate this one;

Gronk shoves a linebacker out of the way, avoids intent to injure by Sergio Brown (the same clown who broke Gronks arm two years ago; notice how he then gets lit up by Endelman, OUTSTANDING block on that POS), outruns two other guys and then launches himself into the end zone.

Brings a tear to my eye.

Speaking of which; I want Belichick to speak at my funeral, not a tear will be shed, he's like dry white toast to listen to.

George, I did see that play and I flashed back on John Mackey at his finest. In fact, I watched that whole game and thoroughly enjoyed watching a team that could win a ballgame by actually running the ball as the primary form of offense. The Pats just plain ran over the Colts, who didn't look like they knew what a running back was for, either for use on offense, or how to stop, on defense. I sure wish the NFL would get back to basics. Once again I see where Manning threw the ball over 50 times, for almost 400 yards, and lost, while scoring all of 7 points. It's the running game, stupid! Bellichick gets it, the rest of the NFL should pay attention. -- Al

The trouble with the Colts is that they're good enough to compete but not bad enough to get some needed draft picks. Luck hides a lot of ills: they beat up on bad teams but will struggle against the good ones.

Belichick would make a great professional poker player!

And despite his "old man yelling get off my front lawn" persona he does a ton of charity work.

The best Gronk moment of the night was when the drove Brown out of bounds, finishing his block and driving him into the camera stand.

When asked what he was doing on that play, he said "He was running his mouth all night, so I threw him out of the club."

When he's 100% healthy, he's THE best tight end in the game.

Well finally Steelers survive a cellar dwellar team this season (Titans). IT was starting to look like yet another fiasco in losing to a team they should beat. Thank goodness, I can actually sleep now.

TD

Pittsburgh proves the point about the running game. They have a 2 to 1 time of possession advantage, run over the Titans with ball control, and win against another team that can't run the ball and must depend on the pass, which doesn't work if you can't get the ball. -- Al

The Patriots beat the Lions to improve to 9-2, next week is going to be the game of the week, if not the season vs Green Bay in Wisconsin.

If the Patriots win that one, HFA is looking pretty good.

And today, on Dan's 50th birthday the Redskins secured yet another losing season, their 12th in the 16 years he's owned the team.

What a disaster.

The Redskins have been completely dysfunctional for almost all of Snyder's reign. It is a disgrace, and a puzzle. Snyder loves his team but he is incapable of standing back and letting real football people run it. He meddles and meddles. Too bad. The franchise has little, if any, chance of returning to it's glory years while Snyder owns/runs it. Unless he can learn to butt-out, the best thing he can do for Redskins football is to sell the team. And he won't butt-out. -- Al
