Part of the problem with the Giants is that the offensive coordinator was not Coughlin's choice but foisted on him by the owner. The OC has tried to change way they play but it's not working. For example, Eli is effective when he throws downfield. This OC doesn't seem to allow him to do that. I don't really know what McAdoo was doing last night. It's as if he had not watched the Steelers Colts game and had decided that he was going to stick to what he wanted to do, as if he had blinders on. Not an excuse but, except for Beckham, they have no receivers.

If they're not going to let Coughlin run this team as he sees fit, then they might as well let him go.

In a way it's a problem similar to the Jets: the owner has saddled the Village Idzik with a coach not of his own choosing.

These two teams need to reorganize.

Agreed; I can't recall a team bringing in a new GM and not let him hire his own coach, saddling him with Rex was a disaster waiting to happen.

Brad; are you pulling for Sanchez now that he's the starter for the Iggles? I hope the kid does well, he got a raw deal in New York IMO..................

George,

I hope Sanchez does well. He did get a raw deal here in NY and he's got an offensive minded Coach who can help him while Foles is out. Who knows? Maybe Sanchez will be the starter the rest of the year.

Brad

Either the Browns are really good or the Bengals are really bad?

I don't think the Browns are that good. The problem is Andy Dalton. I've never liked him as a QB from the get go and I've seen nothing in four or whatever years it's been to change that opinion. Sometimes he looks ok and a world beater but mostly he's inconsistent. However, I've never seen him that bad last night. Some of the passes he threw last were wobbly; I seriously think I could have thrown a better pass. I would have benched him. He had nothing last night.

I am not a QB expert but he seemed to also have lots of trouble just clearing the line. Lots of his passes were knocked down at the line of scrimmage.

Some weeks all your teams win, my Ravens beat Titans, Vick found the fountain of youth and helped the J-E-T-S beat the evil Steelers, Cards beat Rams, and my college AZ. Wildcats win another Pac game last nite, not a bad weekend at all...Sammy

Recorded the SAINT,s game but not going to watch it hate loosing in OT...........:mad:

How bad are the Bears. This is is a disgrace. They need a new coach. Halas must be flipping in his grave. Marshmallows of the Midway

Brad...this is a laugher for sure...and Rodgers is taking advantage of it...

It's pathetic Mike. I can't remember the last time they were beaten this bad. Costas just said it's the worst ever in Bears history in a first half. 42-0 and it's only half time. The stupid coach just stands there expressionless.

I'm sure McCarthy will call off the dogs in the 4th Q.

This absurdity that the NFL calls football has gotten completely out of hand. 6 Td's and over 300 yards passing in one half isn't football in all it's dimensions of running, passing, kicking, and defense, it's a bad joke and one that is becoming old and boring. Why even put a defense on the field anymore? And it's not just this particular game. This season is just going off the rails. Look at the passing stats and it would be easy to conclude that this is some sort of pinball game. I have become very disillusioned with the current form of the NFL. :( -- Al

Marshmellow's of the Midway...hehehe...too funny...

it should be 49-0...

In all fairness this is not a good Bears team defensively although I don't if they're 42-0 bad. Of course, they gave up 50 odd to the Pats last week. The Bears were always know for defense but this team is just offensive. They need to bring Lovie back.

I kind of like it Al...

it reminds me of Air Coryell...or Dan Marino and the Marks brother's combination...

I'm offensive minded...not much for a 1-0 pitcher's duel...

Lynn and I are certainly enjoying the game . . . . . Go Pack! The best thing that's ever happened to the Packers . . . . Jay Cutler!

Mike...

this game is comical...just too funny...

Green Bay just blocked that punt...the defender kicked the ball in mid air before the punter kicked it...

what a blooper real...

I know you guys are loving the game and probably eating pulled pork with come Ciabatta bread...
