I can understand that but it's just that this form of the game has no real resemblance to the game I grew up loving in the 60's and 70's. The game today has about as much in common with those 60's era games as the 60's era game has in common with football of the 1920's. I understand change and development, to a degree, but this pass happy, no defense form of football I just find kind of pointless (pun very intended). I guess the fans of 20's era football said the same thing about 60's era football that I am saying about today's game. And so it goes. -- AlI kind of like it Al...
