NFL Season 2016-17 (3 Viewers)

I liked the excessive celebration penalty on Brown 84...

they should rename that one..."the obscene pelvic thrust penalty"...

that was flat nasty...

heck of a throw and catch...

I still think that Walter Payton and Jerry Rice's "act like you've been there before" touchdown celebration of giving the ball to the referee is the best way to celebrate.

He should have probably gotten a 30 yarder. There's a time and place for everything but there was no place for that.

Steelers settled down and thumped the Skins. If they can play consistent and injury free, they have the talent to win a lot of games. O line looked good, Big Ben shook off rust, settled, protected ball and threw well, Antonio Brown - guess he got a little over excited, needs to cool it and return to his usual class act, Eli Rodgers - he has potential to be real good. Now, on defense, need to secure turnovers, no stupid penalties and figure out how someone other than 38 year old Darth Vader (Harrison) is the best OLinebacker. That has to change as well as get the 2 CB's back.

Anyway, I got sucked into fantasy fb this year, my son picked the team and we ended up with 4 steeler picks. Going into last night, I needed 50 points to win, I got 55!

This could be a good season, but we are only 1 week in.

Dare I say it???..... but hope the Steelers put a arse whipping on Cinncy this Sunday, never thought I would dislike a team more then the evil Steelers but at this point the classless Bengals have my vote as most hated team, I hope it goes back to a Raven/Steeler division and the Bungles can sit out this years playoffs, the Ravens/Steelers have had some knock out, balls to the wall games in the past but their has always been a silent respect for the other team but no doubt always a hard hitting affair...Sammy

Poor Sammy, he has to root against this team every year.

Good luck with that.

If they don't make the AFCCG this year, something is wrong with the NFL, they are a shoe in.

On paper yes if the defense comes around and is consistent and the one moron I forgot to mention Mike Mitchell behaves himself............but that is on paper, as you know 1 Injury, Suspension, etc and it all changes. We are in trouble with depth at a number of positions due to injury and suspension. Can you imagine if this team had Bell, Bryant, Greene, Senquez Golson, Bud Dupree.........................holy crap! BUT, we don't and its the NFL, and you have to play each game week by week!

How can you forget the Niners? They are clearly the best team in the NFL right now! But I wouldn't know. I did not watch a single play of Monday night's game and I will not watch a single 49er's snap until "he" is gone.

wow...

Fitzpatrick had a heck of a game tonight...

looked like a Pro Bowl Hall of Famer...

Rob Ryan's secondary was dismantled...

OMG...hahaha...too strange...

guess it's good to be related to the head coach in the NFL...

job security...

Buffalo is now 0-2...

after brother Rob's (Buffalo's defensive coach) poor showing in week 2...yielding 37 points to the Jets...

brother Rex fired their offensive coach...after the team put up 31 points in that game...

I know Buffalo's defense scored a TD on a fumble...

but maybe the defense is also kind of at fault for the loss...

they did give up 37...

I watched that game...the Jets destroyed his defense...almost 500 total yards...

so............

I guess you can't fire your brother...

He's under a lot of pressure from the owners, who are very unhappy. If he fires his brother, then he better fire himself. They have to face the Cardinals and then the Patriots. He will be gone at the end of the season, if not before.

he claims he is under no pressure from management...this is all on him...

and while I don't follow the daily details of the AFC East...

I remember...when asked about hiring his brother...

Rex said...

"if something goes wrong...he will be the first MF fired"...

I guess not...^&grin

The ownership is new -- I think this is their second year -- and he charmed them in the interview. They're expecting results and I don't think, typical of most new owners, they're the patient types.

The stooge with the mail order bride bought the team from the Wilson family then, correct?

Yeah, no patience from that guy, he's going to want results.

Things look ugly for the Ravens. The Browns are running them off the field. Browns lead 20-2 in the First, and the Ravens 2 points game on a blocked extra point attempt. Either the Browns have improved greatly, or Baltimore isn't awake yet. :rolleyes2: -- Al

Yeah, the Ravens weren't awake yet, even though it took a red zone interception to preserve a 25-20 Raven win. -- Al

Game ball to the ref who threw that horrible flag for "taunting." That was an outrageous game deciding call. He should be fired on the field.

Nothing pretty, but you know what is pretty...2-0!!!!!!!! and with ALLLLLLL the bad luck this team had in 2015 I'll take a interception to win the game, or the runner tripped on a blade of grass, somebody's Mamma doesn't love him anymore could care less, no doubt the Ravens played about as about a bad of a first quarter as there has ever been, but the big word here but, they didn't roll over they rose up and started chipping away and shutting down the Browns. I forget what NFL coach said this but mentioned something to this extent ..... in the NFL every season you need to win the majority of home games, you need to win at least 2-3 road games and in the end luck/fate must fall you're way in at least one game"... Ravens might want to check off that last one.:)...Sammy

nice comeback Sammy...2-0 is sweet no matter how you got it...

Just to toss this out there about the refs screwing over the Browns??....if one can't see the Browns receiver has his foot out of bounds then there is a whole lot of screwing going on in this game. Refs missed it giving Cleveland an early touchdown.
