Nfl season 2017-2018 (2 Viewers)

Gary,

I do. Watching the Jets game and the place is full. If you have no interest, no need to post here :wink2:

Brad

Given the quality of the games, and there have been some real snoozers, I have taken to watching the NFL Red Zone with their whip-around coverage. It is impossible to get deeply involved in any one game, but you get nothing but action with little down time. They show scoring plays of every game in progress. It's a little disconcerting until you get used to the constant game flipping but with no commercials or much down time, I now prefer it to being stuck watching a bad game with teams I might not care about. For example, I just saw the Jets win in OT while I was typing this. Congrats, Brad. ^&grin -- Al

My favorite NFL story was when they charged the military millions of dollars to allow then to reunite soldiers returning from tours of duty with their families at the games. It would almost be impossible to make up something like that. Rampant greed. Not to mention the billions of tax payer dollars they have ripped off for their stadiums. Shameful. I won't watch a second of it. I gather the protest movement hit the wall real fast when folks stopped buying their merchandise but the NFL has never been much on principles. Eventually it is all about the money for players and owners. Birds of a feather.

Thanks Al. Have to take small victories where you can take them. My son, the 49er fan, was happy too as he thinks this eliminates the Jets from the number one pick.

This is at least the second time you've mentioned you won't watch. If so -- and it's your right to do so -- why waste your time posting?

The Patriots lost again today; their defense is a total tire fire, can't get any pressure on the QB, can't stop the run, getting torched on long passes. Every QB they've faced this year has hung over 300 passing yards on them, they are dead last in the league in defense.

If the original Patriots had a defense like this, we'd still be under British rule.

At this point, they'll be lucky to be 10-6.

Tip of the hat to Tom's Steelers, they put a good old arse whipp'n on my Ravens today, my God this year has sucked to be a Maryland sports theme fan :mad: at least it's finally over for the O's but the nightmare I believe is just starting for the Ravens, no offense, no defense, no coaching, a locker room that sounds like it's starting to turn sour, when ask about the Kneeling, or standing today Flacco was direct to the point about we did it, now it's time to focus on what we are paid to do in so many words. but I'm afraid at this point with the injuries, Flacco's terrible play this team may be lucky to win 5-6 games at this point, I didn't give up on my O's (they gave up on me!!!!) and I have hopes that the Ravens can fix some issues, but not planning on playoff parties at this point for my boys.

The Giants season is over October 1st. You just can’t win games without an offensive line.

That's a tough one Louis. Who would have thought that the Jets would have a better record. The Giants have too much talent for this to go on.

There are four 0-4 teams and only one 3-0 team left after week 4. For some reason that seems strange to me.

Guess who has to play that one undefeated team tomorrow night? It's the Redskins vs the Chiefs. Make sure and watch the non-PC game o' the week. {eek3} -- Al

Sammy, I went to the game, it wasn't the same. It kind of just meandered along. Very weird vibe in the Stadium. They booed the Ravens loudly for the "kneel in prayer" prior to the anthem. It was really surreal. I think Sports Fans whether they agree or not are tired of the distraction and especially with the teams playing poorly. It is almost like all teams are not focused. Steelers (Ben) missed a very wide open Bryant for a sure TD and he didn't even see AB at all on an earlier play. Brown was doing jumping jacks in the middle of the field. He was so annoyed he came over and I think threw a cooler. It was just odd all around.

I watched the highlights or the low lights for my Ravens, pretty ugly all around, but glad to see Flacco calls'em like he sees 'em ..''I sucked" was his comment on his game play, and that I agree, I can also tell Flacco is done with the kneeling, standing thing, as his comments were direct to the point about let's do what were paid to do....my view is I'm sick of the whole issue since Cappy took a knee so many months ago, whether players are upset that Trump called them a SOB for not standing, or the injustices of the world WHATEVER....... I come to watch a game for 3 hours or so to scream, cheer, be upset or happy at the final outcome of the game, not to hear certain players political views on all topics that are relevant to their cause of the week, I do not need ESPN to give me a f'ing run down of who didn't stand, who raised a fist, etc. etc...I totally understand that there are issues all over this country on many racial, political lines but this is a game of football where we all grew up playing, watching and enjoying, if I want a political debate I'll turn on CNN instead of the NFL network on Sundays, with SOOOO much stuff these days tagged to be for the left liberal or the right conservative I just want my football to be what it use to be and that is just play the games.

The Giants are a Ferrari without wheels: a whole lot of horsepower going nowhere. Without an offensive line, they are pretty much useless, and the defense is getting worn down and suffering injury after injury.

And right on cue, tonight in light of the events in Vegas yesterday, during the anthem they showed Peters on the Chiefs sitting during the anthem, then when they went back to him, one of the Chiefs tried to shield him from the camera.

What a POS.

There is a TIME AND A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING, this ain't it.

I hope the Redskins beat these *******s 105-0 tonight.

The Redskins strike first on a long bomb as Peters gets torched.

NOW you can sit your worthless *** down.

Karma baby, karma.

I agree, I am NOT a Chiefs fan mainly due to Kelce crying whining baby act he pulled in last year's playoff. Go Skins. I think I still remember the words of Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory, Braves on the Warpath.....Fight for Old DC or something like that.........
