Chicago wins again in overtime to even the series up 2-2; what's that, their 85th overtime win in the playoffs?

Their key to victory is get the game to overtime and they take it from there.

They're doing this with basically 4 defensemen; over a seven game series, throwing in overtimes on top of that, this will catch up to them you'd think.

But maybe not.

With a break here or there, Anaheim could have won this in four; now it's going to be a seven game war; the survivor will be gassed for the finals if they are not careful.

Just keep on playing those overtime games; fatten them up for the Rangers.

Another thriller last night, the Black Hawks are like Jason from those Friday the 13th movies, you can't kill them.

Down 3-0 and 4-2, they storm back to tie it and force overtime, losing when Blutarski scores a can of corn off a juicy rebound.

I think this series is going to OT in game 7 to decide the winner.

What an epic, catastrophic, monumental, supercalafragalisticespaladocious gag job tonight by the Devil Rays.

Game 7 will go to OT and the game winner will end up in the back of the Devil Rays net after hitting three shin guards, four skates, both linesman, the scoreboard and a stray bird.................

As Lundqvist is unbeatable at home in game 7s, I like the chances of the Rangers moving onto the SC Finals.

As epic of a fail last night was for the Devil Rays, the Rangers and Lundqvist losing at home in a game 7 would be worse.

They're what, 97-0 at home in game 7's?

Could actually turn out to be a huge reverse lock......................

Weird series in that some nights both goalies look great and other nights they get torched. And no one can win at home. I think the Rays used up their last chance though. Whoever wins will have their hands full with the Ducks or Hawks.

The Ducks and Hawks are beasts, but they're grinding each other into the ground, it's like combat on the Eastern Front..................

Also, the fact that TB might have had their rookie goalie exposed. Being pulled from a game is never a great ego boost or confidence builder..Michael

Still too early to polish off the suntan lotion for the finals. I think the Ducks will take care of business at home and the Rangers/Rays game could to either way. Tampa has been wildly unpredictable in the playoffs. So a win tonght wouldn't shock me. Even if the Rangers manage to survive again they haven't impressed me much. Lundqvist has carried them most of the way. I see the Duck/Hawks likely taking the cup in five or six games. I don't see fatigue being a big factor either way since both conference finals are going seven and the Rangers are coming off a tough seven game series with the Caps. The Ducks only played four and five game series in the first two rounds. The Kings still destroyed the Rangers last year after playing in three game sevens to get to the finals.

Boudreau coached teams have lost not one, not two, not three, not four, but five, count em, FIVE game sevens at home.

Chicago, you're up.

0-0 after 2. No use waiting until the last minute boys. Someone is going to be broken-hearted. -- Al

1-0 now :( Maybe the Rangers have gone to the well once too often.

Condolences, Brad. I was hoping to see Rangers and Hawks, not water dwellers in the finals. -- Al

The Rangers never looked right in the playoffs. They struggled to score goals and Lundqvist carried them past the Caps. They lost three home games against Tampa and scored a total of only four goals in the four home games getting shutout twice. The Rangers also gambled on winning the cup this year by trading away most of their picks for the next three years to bolster the lineup for the playoffs. So this collapse will hurt for several years.

Looks as if the 'Boudreau Curse' will continue unabated. Hawks up 4-0 in the 2nd. -- Al

Yes, a major choke job by the Ducks. Andersen looked like a big stiff in goal. They were lucky he didn't give up ten goals. Now we get to see the stands full of Hawks fans down in Tampa.
