And there you have it, flat play, lucky to get it to OT and the better team last night won. Pens need to put some gas back in the tank to try and finish. Very flat, very worrisome.

Getting a little rest in between series can make the difference with some teams.
 
The Ducks are sure a Jeykll and Hyde team. Sometimes they look atrocious. Other times they are world beaters. One consistent though is that they have awful uniforms. Second only to the Dallas Stars' Exorcist "puke green" unis they are maybe the ugliest in the NHL.
 
Pretty evenly matched conference finals so far. Tonight's game should be another good one. I am anxious to see if Rinne bounces back from his sub-par performance in the last game.
 
Well, the Hyde version of the Pens showed up tonight! Really? Senators outplayed and smoked them.

I see the Pens are making a goalie change tonight and Crosby's numbers are down big time after the concussion. The Pens are really banged up now. Ottawa might steal this one. The Preds had a crushing loss last night after coming back from 0-2 only to lose in OT on one of those unlucky goals that deflected off their own D.

The Penguins have scored a whopping three goals in three games, they are in trouble; that said, they'll find a way to steal one tonight.

If they don't, adios.........................
 
I am not making excuses for the Penguins, nor am I taking away anything from the Senators but Pittsburgh is decimated by injuries. Some guys named Brian Dumoulin and Ron Hainsey are their Nos. 1 and 2 defensemen. It makes the fact that the Pens have made it this far in playoffs even more impressive.

A very good (and deserving) Ottawa will finish them off shortly.

Like I said, they stole one tonight.
 
The Preds have now lost some key guys to injuries. It just highlights how tough it is to win the Cup. They were one OT goal away from taking a 3-1 lead. Now they are 2-2 and on the road without some of their top players. Not looking very good for them.

And just like that, they win 3-1.

Every time I thought a team was toast in the playoffs this year, they did a Jason/Friday the 13th part 29 on me and came back from the dead........................
 
Every game is a different game. You can loose 6 to 1 one night and win 6 to 1 the next game. There is so much parity no one can predict.

Great point, this is not soccer where some sort of agregate matters. Each loss only counts as one loss.

You'd think momentum would count for something, but I guess not. Not sure about the parity thing; football is a totally watered down sport, as is baseball, but hockey and especially basketball, not so much..................that said, what are the Predators, the 8th seed? So who knows.
 
see what the Pens do today at 3, series tied, start over, but this is a key game.
