I read there was no phone or internet at the compound. So there may not have been much data. Besides, the SEALs probably only had a short time till the 3 regiments of the Pakistani army nearby came to his rescue.

If it turns out he has been living in that house for the last five years, someone needs to be held accountable. The US has spent hundreds of millions in Pakistan and elsewhere looking for him and many have died in that effort. All the while the Pakistani government knew exactly where he was and lied about it. In my opinion that is an act of war according to the policies articulated by the US government after 9/11 which indicated that any country who gave him refuge would suffer the consequences. However, the US has shown no backbone when dealing with Pakistan under the deluded notion that they are allied with us in this effort. When just the opposite has been demonstrated time and again.
