Spot on. As you say can you imagine even trying to bring him to trial, would be a nightmare. And while I'm on my soapbox, why all this umming and ahhing about releasing his picture because it's too gruesome, just do it and let us put the whole thing to bed, or Seabed in this case.

Completely agree, Rob. Also cannot understand the element asking why he wasn't taken alive. Can you imagine the long winded process of putting him on trial, the endless appeals against the sentence, and the convuluted arguments of the lawyers hell bent on dragging the process on as long as possible for the sake of profit. All this plus an instant increase in terorist activity taking hostages and threatening death unless he is released? Armed or unarmed he had to die, and I doubt the man who pulled the trigger has lost any sleep over it. The whole team who undertook the mission should be given the reward ($50million?) equally divided.Trooper
