PanzerAce1944 Meets Andy C. Nielson at Kingsx (1 Viewer)

Agreed mate can't wait for this one,thanks again matey.

any support for no hubcaps? I think it looks totally ghetto. In a cool way. And we could have a low rider that jumps up & down as it taxis off the runway.2011-10-10_130235.jpg

Speculators, sillyness and naysayers!!!! You are well on the ball this morning. If this was aimed at me I think you will find if you look back at my posts never dismissed the prospect of russians, in fact, I have said they would be welsome with the caveat that I do think that there will be an initial interest but, believe this may be a short term interest. This was the same with the last lot and, with other ranges which have been released after some time. A fair example is the arnhem/ Market Garden range. I also only doubted that a version of the Stuka would be feasable in polystone due to the weight and dynamics of the airframe of the JU 87. This has been proven right as its had to be done in metal. I never said it would not come. My sillyness was in responding to your comments about rubber tyres and folding undercarriage which, you deem as an attack on K&C. it was more a retort to your belief that this would happen whereas I feel they will not do this feature. Just because they propose to do a metal aircraft does not mean some form of polystone and other material may not be used.

I do feel, and it is your right, you seem to want to be the new defender of K&C but, this is an open forum where we are able to discuss the topics announced and, then often as not with only snippets of information go from there. You also clearly fail to see that I actually like K&C but, that does not mean that I am precluded from raising issues positive or, negative. What you also fail to see is that many of the comments you so elequently dismiss are taken right from your new founded mates mouth. Andy said never to russians, never to a jagdtiger and similar to Nam et al. They are all out or coming!!!! I have always said he should never close a door as equivocally as things change. So, rather than dive in you should have a chat next event and ask Andy not to say such things. Everything in historical terms from the era's covered should be an option. That is what will happen until we see the pictures of the Stuka's and know what components they are crafted from.
Mitch
I have several favorites: K&C / Collectors Showcase / Thomas Gunn = All doing great things ! :)

Well being an early war, AK, and winter version are coming out ,in my own personal order of preference: 1st Early war version 2nd Winter 3rd Africa Korps ....

All 3 K&C Stuka versions that seem to be due next year will be superb, I have no doubt, but of all the possibilities I would certainly go for a tank buster version. Can't wait to see these metal birds on dispatches sometime in 2012!!!:)

Translation: Wouldn't the Stuka look good without the wheel spats (covers). The reference to jumping up and down is a reference to what is known as a low-rider car. A vehicle that has been modified to ride real low on the air shock system, and can be raised and lowered on that system and can be made to "hop" up and down by manipulating the air shocks with air pressure. It's an LA thing. At least that's how I read it. -- Al

Wayne..... Are you planning on getting all 3 Stukas done in 1/30 Metal ?

AK for sure will wait and see what the other 2 are first,knowing K&C it will be hard not to..................{sm3}

Wayne here!!
Yes I plan on the winter version. It looks like Mitch got caught up again with the hands in the cookie jar. I can see why the Arnhem sets were short lived. There isn't as much desire for British figures. I would also think the geography of where these were designed and built would make a difference. Wasn't there an European colony in the are a while ago? Russians may or not be short lived, yet one must give it a chance to see what does happen. The Arnhem figures were done, and I gather did not do as well. PanzerAce did state suggestions, as well as I about the A/C variations of ways to package and sell, including metal and/ or metal shims. This helps in the shipping and dihedral accuracy.

Cheers

Personally, I would like to see a Blitzkrieg version, complete with the trumpets of Jericho, siren fixed to landing gear!
