Prussian Standard Bearer (1 Viewer)

Good point, what is up with the Kickstarter program??

KEEP IT..:rolleyes2:...ITS WAY OVER-PRICED......FL needs to re-release it in the flick-starter program.....Also....PLEASE...&. WHEN.... will we see a "Naps Mass Battle" FL release?????....Long Overdue.

Yes that is the one..... $385 LOL Keep dreaming{sm4}.........It originally sold for $69.95.....If he gets $200 for it I still would be amazed, because most knowledgable buyers refuse to be bamboozled by speculators and hoarders that plague the hobby

Someone please let me know when it gets down to $69.95. I always wished I'd bought another one.

If you have one...Why do you want another one??.....Enquiring minds would like to know:wink2:.... If this guy sold it to you for the original price of $69.95, I have a feeling that it would be right back on evil-bay very quickly{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}

Brad, I think that you can purchase a kit for this FL Prussin flagbearer from the FL website for a reasonable price and have someone with hobby skills assemble and paint it for you....I think someone did this already and it turned out pretty good....It's better the getting taken for a ride on evil bay....Best Frank

Frank, I have the figure. Someone was kind enough to sell it to me at a reasonable price.

Brad

As I indicated it's also available on the FL website as a kit for $29.95 so you can commission its painting for a fraction of the $400 if you really need to have it (I have already one). Looking at it this is not a complex figure to paint...

The flag alone makes it a complex figure.

Joe

I would personally disagree. I had checked this figure before making that statement below: all the flag details are molded or embossed on that flag making them fairly easy to paint
(depending on your painting skills of course :wink2:). They are not decals like on other flags. Anyway this is just my humble opinion...

I stand corrected Grog. Thanks for pointing out that the flag is embossed making for much easier painting. I thought it was decals, and painting similar detail freehand would be a nightmare. But after looking closer at images of the flag-bearer I see what you mean now, and I am in agreement.:smile2:

FL should just re-relrease these Prussian Flagbearers and Drummers.....If they offered this on the flickstarter option I would buy one more Prussian flagbearer and at least 2 more Prussian Drummers for that FL Prussian Series.....These FL NAP Prussians were excellent figures.... the whole series should be ressurected with "Fring Line Poses" : Standing firing, kneelling firing, loading, and charging figures to match the originals which were GREAT PRODUCTS some of FL's Best........They would sell out in a flash.... JUST MAKE'M & CASH IN FL:salute::

Not sure what your playing at but just for the record I've never sold a single First Legion figure on eBay or anywhere else for that matter.

Not that is any of your business what collectors do or don't do with their property.

Really Frank I don't know how you sleep at night with seeing all those evil speculators and hoarders everywhere {sm2}

Gebs,

You make a very valid point. If you own something that you paid for, you are free in this world to do whatever you want with it, there is no questions asked, it is called capitalism if you so desire.

There is nothing wrong with selling toy soldiers, it is everybody's choice to do so and getting more than retail is not a crime!

And for the record, I love ebay, it is an opportunity to find something that I can't find anywhere else, it is up to me regarding the price, that word is relative, some things are worth more to me than someone else and vice versa.

If FL re-released the Prussian Flagbearers this thread would not even need to exist (discussing a $500 flagbearer).....Some guys are against re-releases:wink2: I am not ....If an FL Prussian Flagbearer were re-relesaed in the Flickstarter Option it would be a good thing for the collector amd not so good for the speculators who purchase 2 or3 flagbearers with the sole intent of placing the spares on e-bay for ridiculous prices....Also re-releases with mild variations would rejuvenate the NAP Prussian Series which I personally would like to see continue with more fighting poses, flagbears and drummers......That is good for FL sales and good for the general collector.....But worrisome to the hoarder/speculator

I have mentioned this before. FL if they want to can assemble and paint the prussian metal kits that they have for sale, and get some of those inventory sold. It just a matter of wanting to. When I mentioned it before. It got shot down.. Because the metal kits, has to be shipped from here in the U.S. back to China...

Sorry guys, we're not re-releasing a figure that was produced about 7 years ago and sold out about 3-4 years ago. Further, of the entire release, only 6 codes remain in stock. It's time to move on to new Prussian figures and not bemoan the lack of availability of something this old. The kit being available should be enough to solve the problem for those who want one.

Can I please suggest Prussian Landwehr, I know I'm a broken record but they really are essential and long overdue IMO. ^&grin .

We also need Russian Heavy Calvary and Bavarian Chevau-legers please. Those would keep me busy for awhile but I have hundreds more suggestions for the Napoleonic Line if you guys ever need em.:wink2:.

To be honest you guys are producing some really wonderful products and unfortunately have me spread out pretty thin trying to keep up with all the lines I love so I feel silly asking for more. :redface2:

And let's not forget the swamp we're all waiting on to be drained as promised....................;).......................

...as I mentioned. Its more of wanting to.. Hopefully if there will be more Prussians made there would be a variation of the Bearer.
I personally have been more selective in what I buy from FL. I wanted Normandy Armour which is coming out now..I can afford it. But I keep asking what for.. Loyalty goes both ways for me.. The last 4 that I have bought that are FL are the winged lancers. That maybe it.. There will always be new collectors that will replace ones that have moved on I know... But again that will be loyalty to FL if I keep buying. Just choosing not to. There are other manufacturers..
