When I asked this question

"Any chance of a description of the figures?
Thanks"

I got this reply

"Hi, yes descriptions will be coming asap - just waiting on the exact details from my supplier. Keep watching! Many thanks, Chris"

Cheers

I wonder why he didn't just wait until he had the set? Seems a bit daft to me, although the way this week is going I shouldn't be surprised at all !!!!

There are 2 "mystery" Trophy sets on eBay now with opening bids of GBP 40.00.

The sets are just called "Trophy Soldier Set".

It must be some sort of expensive "lucky dip".

Hi Martyn,

He does have a rather unique way of listing items for auction.

That said, he sold a single figure Trophy ACW set recently.

This set and another similar one (from another seller) were discussed in this forum.

Thanks for putting the question to the seller.

Best, Raymond.:)

Both ACW sets, the minimum bid on one has increased by 100%

Hi Martyn,

Thanks very much for the update of the "mystery" sets.

Good Hunting at the show this weekend.

All the Best, Raymond.:)

The AZW and the Sudan sets seem to be at a premium.

Hi Damian

You are quite right there, one single Dervish figure with a loose arm recently sold for £33.70:eek:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Here is another one, this auction finished last night at $57.77/£37.80.

Hi Martyn,

If the left arm came off clean at the joint, it can be glued back in place and the figure would be OK with a paint touch up.

The limbs in Trophy figures are attached to the torso via pin and socket type connections.

However, there is not much of a pin in this case from the photograph.

If the pin was broken off and lodged in the socket, that would be tough luck.

Raymond.:)

PS: I did not bid on this "one arm" bandit.:D:p

Definitely Trophy, sorry for the delay in replying Damian but I had to search for my set.

Bit of a "cheeky" figure in more ways than one;)

Hi Martyn,

Very nice "figure".;)

Love the way she curves.:D:p

Thanks, Raymond.:)

I am not absolutely convinced. As for the Terry's Raiders what can I say.
How much did the 21 st Lancer go for last night?

Now apparently the model for this figure is the wife if a well known major Trophy collector.
:D:D
Not sure which one though:cool:

Hi Damian

It went for $124.05

I will be bidding on this one as I like Elephants, but I don't believe these are Trophy elephants. For me, these if I win will be good filler items, but they are in no way high value as they are surely not complete sets, various makers, not even sure what they are other than a few of the figures.

Tom

Thanks Tom, best of luck with your bid, I will not be bidding

Will keep you posted if I win!

By the way, I just recently bought a second Tuttsie! Too good to pass up!
