i wonder how much the dragon gun will go for. I tend to agree with what others have said that once everyone who wants one has got it then the prices will stabilize a bit. When a set obtains a huge price on e bay it brings more of the same set out a few weeks later as people who have had them in their collection for a while suddenly decide to try and achieve the same price. There has really been a lot of sets on e bay over the last few weeks.

well damian, i bought it for $211. I have been waiting and waiting and they have all been going for $350 and up. The one i won has no box but for the price i was glad to get it. I contemplated selling my boxer sets as i thought i couldn't afford to get the ones i needed. But alas, i got one. Did any of you see how much some of the napoleonic sets went for, especially the dutch lancers. Some guy bought 2 dutch flagberares, one for $317 and the other for around $200. Wow, but why 2 ?

I am glad some one I know bought it. That is a good price.
I will try and check up on the Napoleonic prices.
Maybe the focus is moving a bit from Sudan and Boxer to Napoleonic sets.

This set is on Ebay now, "SERGEANT WITH THE NATIONAL BATTLE FLAG"

I'm sure Tom wasn't too happy.

Actually, my set that I had wasn't complete and I picked it up in a lot of items for about that price. Ie I got 4 items for $150, 2 have sold for over $160, so I am not doing too bad!!!!! I almost kept this one as I think it is a cool set, but again, this was not complete.

There is a complete one on ebay at the moment...................temptation.............

Hi Tom
I wished you asked: I have an extra black girl figure to complete the kitchen set ^&grin

Crazy Ebay again, the Mint and Boxed set just sold for £50 {eek3}, the incomplete set sold for £365

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,

The seller was not allowing folks overseas to bid on it, or else I would've scooped it up. The low price probably had something to do with the limited market.

I didn't notice that Dave, but did you ask if they would, it's worked for me several times

I wasn't sure, if based on Alex's earlier comment, the Ox was indeed Trophy. I sure hope so. Wonder how much a real Ox costs these days :rolleyes2:

I guess if you're into animal sets, this is a good deal, so far....

Brad,
Just another Super SILLY record for eBay Trophy auctions. An ox was MARLBOROUGH not Trophy {eek3} I guess it's time to introduce a set from the BOAR war: a pig (boar) with a native ^&grin I bet it will go even higher! ^&grin

Now now Al you know I love authentic Trophy Boer War sets. I certainly wouldn't be fooled by your Boar with handler{eek3}^&grin

Hi Brad

Nice early pack mule (with detachable pack) paired with a 66th Regiment marching figure

Cheers

Martyn:)

Thanks Martyn. I assume it's not a set but a convenient pairing, which is why I assume it has not drawn any bids. Kind of reminds me of the mule that kicked me in the stomach when I was all of 7 {eek3} :wink2:

That's right Brad not a set, but still a couple of nice pieces for the right price:wink2:
