No Offense taken at all -
If you are starting your own company with similar or better quality at similar or better prices, count me in!!!!! :)

I've been keeping an eye on Kolobob figures for only about 6 months.
Have they really gone up in price 50% in 12 months?

This is what I have noticed since 2013 for his figures :

Plenty of figures are done now with ekcastings metal kits which are not of the same quality as pegaso kits or sculpts by N. Miniatura (search ebay and you can find them for 9.99$, including some which are recast of other well know brand kits)
Increase in the number of foot figures available
Decrease in the number of mounted figures sold
Regular foot figures used to be between 100$ and 150$
Now they start at 169$ no matter what the quality is

Cheers
Alex

That's worth knowing. Thanks.
And while we're on this topic, hasn't the ruble taken an almighty hit against the greenback (over 40% since the start of the year I read today)?
Is there any sensible reason why this change hasn't started to show up in prices by now?

This little fella is
The prototype for Kuroda Nagamasa from AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection #6352

Is this new samurai any bigger than the previous samurai?
The reason I ask is that I recently got Pompey in Triumph Armor (6342) and he's somewhat larger than my other AeroArt figures (I don't find it a problem but it is noticeable).
I'm wondering if the new releases are (have been?) getting slightly bigger and I just haven't noticed until now??

Hi
this samurai is the size of what we are used to. I agree with you that the Pompey figure is more massive. I like him a lot, but definitely bigger than the others.
when i get home tonight, I'll measure and take a comparison photo so you can see exactly the size

It's been a while, but I"M BACK!....

I don't know if those were part of a larger band that was produced, but if anyone sees more of these, let me know! I'd love to have a whole band

Nice looking figures. I too would like to get an entire Napoleonic marching band at some point. Does anyone happen to know why AeroArt stopped doing these and other Naps?
Apologies to Zach for always asking questions in the middle of his recent purchases thread.

No worries at all...
Any discussion is good with me! Keeps the threads interesting!

Pegaso warrior bishop XIII C. # 54-190 painted to level 8 by Nevskaya Miniatura. I saw this piece in a friend's collection a few years ago, and I've wanted one ever since. The day has arrived!

Zach,
I've always liked this piece and it's variations; great pick up! Thanks for the nice pic

I tend not to buy many Confederate Soldiers, but this one I just had to have. I just think the painting on it is fantastic. The shirt first drew me in, but the face is fantastic too.

He is Confederate Loading Rifle from St. Petersburg Studios (for the St. Petersburg Collection) # 3838

"Generally" speaking I have a major issue with this collection - I can't help myself!

Arriving over the weekend were these civil war generals! If anyone wants a close up of any, let me know. I was too lazy (common theme) to take individuals!

They are (not in order):
Gen. James Longstreet Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 0102
Gen. George McClellan Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 0115
Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection 205
Gen. Joseph Hooker Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 122
Gen. George Pickett AeroArt/St.Petersburg Collection 3829
Gen. Joseph Johnson Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 116
Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman seated Arsenyev/St.Petersburg Collection 108

Sorry this is the post I should have answered to.

I am quite sure that the person on the left, is Maj.Gen. George Meade, Commanding officer of the Army of the Potomac.
