I don't really see the logic in what your saying. Personally, I have read your comments in the K&C section and, although they are interesting I don't agree with them. You can't have separate sections where the good and bad are separated it just does not work and you will have a flawed representation of the piece in question. I don't also agree that stating an item is incorrect in detail colour etc is a hobby in itself and that pleasure is or can be gained from it. This is what we are supposed to be discussing not just saying what a lovely set lets just pay £300 because the manufacturers were nice enough to make it??
I also cannot for the life see how someone saying X is wrong with this can make a collector return an item. If it affects one that much then obviously the person actually cares about detail etc and, should be moaning at the manufacturer for making pants stuff not the person who informs them of it. I buy lots of things I know that are wrong and still like them sufficiently to keep them and, whether everyone on the forum disliked what I bought I would still like it
I think it comes down to tolerance for others opinions they never bore me no matter what they say as I am interested in what everyone has to say even if I am diametrically opposed to what they say. I want to hear what they say and why they feel that way. To segregate any part of a discussion is stupidity in the extreme and ignores any mature dialogue between adults.
I don't want to hear the bad things is a rather unrealistic way to live IMO. If we can't talk toy soldiers warts and all on a toy soldier forum then heaven help us
As I have said before if people don't like to hear something they are buying is wrong speak to the manufacturers trying to attack, belittle or nullify any comments from the messenger is and can only be stated as censorship because its not palatable for some. I never read anywhere in the rules of this forum where discussing toy soldiers was only allowed when it was positive
I don't want to spend £300 on a Sherman or close to it to find its incorrect so, people like Gary who know more about Sherman's have my appreciation when they discuss them I think we should be grateful to be allow an informed choice when we are thinking about parting with chunky money. Do we not do that when we buy other consumables or are people's homes and cars falling apart because they only believed the good things the salespeople told them as the reality was placed into a separate catalogue?

ected at you, if a Manufacturer keeps making mistakes, and it is troubling someone. And has become a scab, Why do they keep coming back??, , why do they return?, do they like scratching that scab, or just live looking for something that is off, on any given piece?, Do not buy what you do not like, or see that something is wrong, The Manufacturer's make what they want, what ever we might say, if that is not obvious then.......
And its kinda hard to skip a criticism, when its below the heading. Some people prefer the happiness that a piece they been waiting for to be made, and not get ruined by a critic. I have asked in another part of this forum, that if anything is wrong with a model, please do not criticize it and ruin it for everyone on the same thread, Post the Criticism in a separate thread. If anyone wants to read it then it does not force anyone to actually read it, not unless that is the intention, for no one to have the choice but to read it.... We could go at this for on and on. As I asked everyone, Are you for or against a separate thread , so it does not ruin it for people that do not care to know.[/QUOTE]
