Stuka (1 Viewer)

Is the winter Stuka the only one with the magnets in the landing gear, or do all the newer versions have them? (BoB version and the small limited run version)

Rec'd my BoB Stuka yesterday and it's beautiful. Wish it had a pilot and gunner since the canopy is in the fixed closed position. Haven't had it setup long, so can't comment on the magnet situation. Looks great and is now my favorite aircraft, replacing the P-38. Chris

It might just look fixed closed. The canopy on this opens. It doesn't slide back like the K&C FW190A, you more have to pop/pry it off then reposition it in the open position. I'd suggest you send an email to Figarti to confirm. If they say it opens, you will probably need to get into a seam with a razor to loosen it off it's position.

Thanks to the rest for the likes & comments. I really hope they make a Me109F companion

Dont forget these 2.

Have you seen the youtube video of one of these taking off? It's almost at efficient as a helicopter. Really amazing

All three versions utilize the magnets. The lone exception thus far was Figarti's first Stuka which was the Rudel Tank Buster version.

Would love to see some photos of the BOB version ^&grin
