The British Empire (1 Viewer)

Thanks for your comments, Al and Martin,
there will be another addition of a mounted and a foot figure to my collection by July I think and then, after a summer break, I am hoping to show a special set, something larger
I very much enjoy the collecting of these fine miniatures.
Konrad

No mounted Cavalry yet to post, but here are a few figure on foot that I did not feature until now, I believe.
1st picture is of an Officer of the Bahawalpur State Force Infantry, Sadiq Battalion, 1897.
2nd picture is of an Officer of the 23rd Cavalry Frontier Force, 1904
3rd picture is of an Officer of the Dhranagadhra State Force, Makhwan Infantry, 1897
More views are available in my album.
Happy Collecting!
Konrad

Great to see your Empire continue to grow and see that you are keeping John busy making these masterpieces.

Very nice Konrad, more excellent work by John. I bet they look a treat all displayed together.

Konrad,

Great new additions as usual, the third one is my favourite. You now have a rather impressive collection. :)

More nice looking figures Konrad. I should be in receipt of my first commission from John very soon, so thanks for the inspiration. :)

These are among the nicest glossy figures I have ever seen! Thanks for posting them, they are absolutely works of art!:cool:

Thanks everyone here for the nice comments.
A great day today since I am able to show the newest additions to my British Empire Collection. This time I have a mounted figure and one on foot.
The foot figure comes first here.
The kit is by Squadron, 54mm, and it represents an Officer of the Governor's Bodyguard in India, 1912

And here we have the mounted figure. 54mm casting by the BMSS (British Model Soldier Society) representing a trooper of the 21st Lancers in Cairo, 1898. Hope you like it as much as I do.
Happy Collecting!

Konrad,

Absolutely beautiful!:cool::cool::cool: The paint jobs on these glossy figures are exactly the type of quality I hoped K&C would be producing had it continued to produce both matt and glossy figures. Alas, it was not to be, but it is nice to see that there is still someone out there making glossy figures of exceptional quality.

They are all beautiful figures Konrad but my favourite has to be the 21st Lancer;)

Cheers

Martyn:)

Incredible figures. I just love your glossy collection. -- Al

More excellent additions to your growing collection Konrad. I like both of these guys a lot. As I've received my first parcel from John earlier today, I will shortly be starting a similar thread over in the painting section so be sure to check in later. Thanks for the updates. They are always exciting to see. :)

Beautiful Konrad. Soon you'll have to show us that cabinet again getting filled up.:)

Wonderful. You must have a great cross representation of the British Empire by now Konrad.

Hi Konrad,

Thanks very much for kindly sharing your excellent British Empire collection with us.

I have just viewed your updated albums and the figures are just superb.

Best Wishes, Raymond.:)
