I just saw this Rob. Spelling or not, this is a mighty fine display; salute mate.:D

NIce looking display!:cool: I agree with Terry's comments about the burned ground around the tiger and the tracks ending. Well done!:)

P.S.We are looking forward:D

I commend your bravery in converting the CS Panther to the ranks of the late, great. I also found the scene of your British armour on the road to be very evocative. It evoked the "A Bridge Too Far" theme march which I now can't get out of my head. Nice dio. -- Al

Hi Rob,

An excellent display.

I like the D-Day landing craft dio too.

No wonder you have been rather quiet on the forum.

Thanks for sharing, Raymond.:)

Rob, this is an impressive set of pictures, particularly the ones taken from the lower angle where the perspective lines up with the background. Great stuff!

Even though the subject is not the American Civil War, your photographs Ray are outstanding and very well done. I like your use of the backdrop picture to give your armor column a more three deminsional feel. Very nice, very nice indeed.

Rob...that's a beautiful display...I love the burned out ground under the tank...very nie work...

Very nicely done Rob with a number of great photos..The Lt.

Great job Rob , can I ask how long it took to make ?

Thanks, well I did it over several weeks, doing a little bit each day, it was a learning curve for me as I'd never used Celluclay or Pigments before.

Cheers

Well done that's a very fine composition that perfectly displays and highlights some of your tank collection. Am well pleased my tip for your backscene worked out -that plus the groundwork perfectly illustrates what we have often discussed for bringing one's collection to life rather than just have them standing on a bare wooden shelf. Now everyone can see the extra impact these pieces can deliver when placed in such a complementary scenario.;)

Seamless work young Skywalker seamless work:D

Thanks Bob,and thanks for the tip,I really like the backscenes and am going to get more of them, I owe you a VAT;)

As well as Lord Bob of UK Rebshire, I must also thank my other two wise-ish men. Lord Simon of Wraithshire and Lord Tony of Nevillehampton have both given me lots of hints, tips and advice over the years, for which I'm most grateful:).

I do like how you blended the scenic shrubbery with the backdrop. Now that you mention it, where did you get the backdrops?;)
