Robin, that was fast! Very nice indeed, you're positively right, a must have; no doubt I will be picking it too! I couldn't recognize the figure holding the medal tray, where's it from?

Very poor attempt by me, not new figure, see my explanation under K&C thread Hitler's parade. Thank you for interest. Robin.

Beautiful scene Robin. Chris

Thanks Chris, go thru phases about era's often prompted with the purchase of a new item that rekindles my interest. The Silk Road series was back in 2001, so too early for me as I started in 2007 with Ancient Egypt. My model maker made the gate house based on the K&C version. Have some more ideas that I will put up shortly, for this series. Robin.

Robin...who makes the castle in the silk road pictures?

and those elephant look expensive...hehehe...

also...

where did you get the murky water diorama for the Aussies...

is that a Hudson Allen product?

Mike not a patch on your work, both the gatehouse (made of plaster) and the jungle terrain are made by my local model maker. I keep him on the go with my projects, I think there are 4 on the drawing board at the moment.^&grin I have invited him to meet Gordon in July hopefully to pick up some useful tips on dio building. The water in the jungle was made using varnish. Robin.

Newman's garage located in Slope Alley Warmington-on-Sea, owner Sid, works on Jones's van after being damaged by an elephant pulling the van out of mud. To the rear of the garage, Sid rents 2 sheds to Joe Walker where he stores his 'essential' items. Robin.
