time on my hands at last (4 Viewers)

OH ya' --- ANDY ... I can NOT sail with only TWO aircraft so I am begging your assistance in increasing my air wing by at least two or three planes ...

Hi Larry,

Here's something useful to lobby for in the way of new product from Andy:

Normally, in the absence of a 1/30 model, I'd suggest that you substitute a 1/32 kit build for the Val and/or Kate. However, I don't believe that there are kits available for those two types in that scale. All that I can find is 1/48 models. Be apprised, however, that they'd be quite large in 1/30, particularly the Kate. Boy, though, they'd look great on that flattop of yours!

If they appeared on the dispatches, I would be a very happy camper ... but alas, yes they would be big.

Not that I would mind BIG, but I am not sure if the technology and selling price to production cost ratio would allow them to be made.

I did see a Tamiya kit that I think was 1/35 scale but that was a while ago. IF I remember correctly, it was NOT cheap. Priced at $150 - $160 or so. Still that might be may only option .... or go a custom build root. There are a few web sites that offer to build you almost any ship, AFV or plane and almost any scale .... but with a HEAVY price tag. I'll hunt and see if I can find that site.

ONLY ANDY can tell us.
