time on my hands at last (5 Viewers)

A rare visit to the front lines, General Melchett and his aid Darling, are greeted by Captain Edmund Blackadder while Private Baldrick prepares one of his 'special' cups of coffee for the General. Later Squadron Commander the Lord Flashheart of The Twenty Minuters ( length of time expected to stay alive in the Royal Flying Corps), also drops in from the sky. Robin.

Excellent figures and diorama, and based on one of my favourite TV shows. I wonder if Baldrick has another "cunning plan", would possibly include turnips.

Btw Robin, it would be amusing to see a Rat or Two included somewhere in the dio.

Tom

Thanks Tom, not nearly as good as your latest WW11 American dio. I did this on Saturday and photographed, so yes I am working to day in between posting and checking the forum of course. Robin.,

Ps waiting for someone to pick up a mistake I knew I made ( hint involves the figures).

Yes Robin, if they're off to the woods where is the bear ! ^&grin

Excellent use of this series, in a great diorama !

Thank you.

Excellent use of this series, in a great diorama !

Thank you.

This man is the winner, sending me an email pointing out many mistakes in the display, although using two of the same character, Sir Guy mounted and standing with a sword in each hand was my knowing mistake. Using a lady BlackHawk figure, the other lady from a different era, what seems to be floating gold chest in the wagon and all the wall guards facing inwards were some of his other suggestions, all a bit of fun. Robin.

Your photography is always spot on RObin. And the scene is excellent. Might we be going to Sherwood Forest next? Looking fwd to the next installment. Chris

The good old "Rossini brothers" highly recommend for a good trim ^&grin

Awesome mate :salute::

Heard of a 'One Horse Town', but a one building town!.............:wink2:

The entire town is all around this shop. Did the photo shoot yesterday which I will post early May, that's based on the fact I get back from my China trip of course. Could be at war by than, might be stuck there.^&grin, always good to hear from the 2 Wayne's, masters of the diorama's. Robin.

Wonderful and unusual diorama :salute:: I always love the western dios{sm3} Good mix of del prado, king and country and other brands...I think that to make a great dio almost always you have to mix different brands....

I'm always glad when I stop in here to see what you are doing Robin.

More great looking scenes and typically something different too. Well done.

It's probably managing Robins Toy Soldier budget ! LOL

She loves shoes and boots which I have built shelves for, to store. I encourage her to buy, to try to reduce my guilt on the amount I spend on TS's. Whenever she cannot decide on which pair to get, I say get both. ^&grin, Robin.
