Great scene Robin :salute::

I can almost hear the dramatic music of the Indian drums beating !

Next the camera draws out and you see smoke signals starting to rise ! ^&grin

I've got a theory that some collectors won't admit that they secretly like cavalry and indians and stick exclusively with WW2 and such. That was what another collector and myself thought when our dioramas were shown little interest at a competition night. Now I like anything to do with toy soldiers and would collect everything if I could. I appreciate the effort gone into making any diorama no matter what the subject is but some people will not look at something unless it is WW2. Maybe it is a geographic history thing here in Australia but i'm sure many older forum collectors would have had cowboys and indians to play with when they were kids. In the USA it's part of there history and there would be more interest in the period. Anyway these are the dioramas that I have done and are some of my favourite scenes. Regards Greg.

I'd of liked to dip more than my toe in the water with Wild West, but with so many other ranges made by the various manufacturers I have to limit myself some, though I do remember having great fun as a kid with friends after watching the latest Western on TV going outside and playing Cowboys and Indians and of course staging battles with the plastic Timpo and Britains toy soldiers !
And yes I enjoy looking at other peoples dioramas, regardless of what time period they may portray.

Great to see all the dios. Steve's first pic is a very good depiction of The Little Bighorn, having visited the battlefield last yr.

A lot of nice details, the trooper looking at the buffalo, Indian peeking around the rock, etc. Nice looking wagon. Custom made? I've used those JJD horses in ACW dios. Very nice scene. :salute::Chris

Berlin, the final days, May 3rd 1945. Robin.

Another great piece of story telling Robin, an excellent scene. Who did the dead figure on the tank ?

Thanks everyone for your interest. Steve he is from TCS and came with one of their vehicles, but I have 30 so I am not sure which one. Drapes quite well as he is intended. Robin.
