Martyn,
Thanks for posting this beauty of a set! It is wonderful to see it in great hands. I wish Len made this guy for some of the AZW wagons:(

Thank you Mike, Pat, Brian and Lancer for your kind comments, it really is a great set to own:D

I agree with you Mike, the figures you have highlighted would look great with AZW wagons.

Brian and Lancer, I also found the Royal Navy 4.7 Gun Battery and the Royal Artillery Heavy Field Gun Battery, I intend trying to fit them all in with the Oxen drawn 4.7 Gun I found in December.

Cheers

Martyn:)

A dash of paint should suffice to convert him to the AZW :D

Martyn,
All tribes south of the Equator will bow before your military might. Just don't get caught up in guerilla warfare! You'll have to trade the 4.7's in for a SBS/SAS team!

I wouldl like to remind you all that the word "Commando" comes from the Boer word "Kommando":D:D

Indeed! I was assuming that Martyn would leave the pastoral farming types alone!
Mike

We have to deal with the Zulu, Dervish, Afghan and Egyptians first, the Boer will have to wait their turn:D

Hi Jeff

I only just managed to get 2 boxes and an large bag in the boot, the other box just fitted on the rear seat:D

I know the Traction Engine from the Guards Museum will soon be going to a very good home.

Nothing changes, Afghanistan 130 years ago.

In 1879 the British Army are not only fighting the Zulus

Here you see Afghans lying in wait to ambush a British patrol. The Afghan leader has a pair of binoculars, his deputy is checking for the position of the sun while two snipers are ready to open fire, and they even have a female recruit.

Martyn,
Awesome display of the mujahadeen in the mountainous crevices of Afganistan. Too sure, nothing changes except the invaders.
Mike

Great afghans, i just picked some up but have not displayed them yet, one is broken and i was wondering if you knew what the best glue was to use tofix them.

I think I am going blind (no sniggering you lot)
I cannot see Martyn's images.
How have you displayed them using photo-bucket or some online storage facility that my software doesn't support? I see other images that have been posted so I was just wondering.

Hi Damian

I use photobucket to display all my pictures therefore if you can see one you should be able to see them all.

Cheers

Martyn:)
