Martyn,

Nice sets I think Trophy made some of the best nonbattle sets.

I like this figure the bes, though I don't have him... I agree that the "camp-life" and noncombat sets are the best, and are my favorites also. I just wish Trophy had made a rocket battery at rest!

Martyn, if you don't mind me asking, just how many Trophy sets/figures do you have? There seems to be a no end to them. :)

I was in that hole once for more than a few years, but for some reason I climbed out  Now I only paint them for others but I still have great admiration for figures of this quality and finish.

Martyn,
I know that you know that I know that you know that I love 'em! I can't get enough wagons and tents! Too bad no Bell tents from Trophy! It looks like you're going to have to swallow another JG sand base or two to fit the whole adventure of 21/01/79! I (we) appreciate your time setting these beauties up as always, and it's always worth it:)

Jeff,
Since you wouldn't mind going after some glossy guys for me, Find all the intel you can on Martyn's fortified quarters, and the schedule for his attack cat to go to vet. Report back to me on ideal times and methods for entry...Standing by.

The only Trophy figures I have ever owned were a two-figure set of Dad's Army (the home guard), which looked very similar to Captain Mainwarring and Sgt Wilson and was available from the magazine "Military Hobbies" which was the forefather to Toy Soldier & Model Figure magazine. I wish I had kept those :(.

I think that was set number C02 The Home Guard - W.W.2. in the series "The Specials"
