I agree with Hawkeye, I collect 99% KC WWII, but these Trophy sets are just beautiful and wide ranging. If only I had an endless supply of money..... Keep the pictures coming. I'm always surprised.

Rorke’s Drift 1879

The Hospital has been set ablaze and the survivors are making their way, via the biscuit box wall, to Surg. Reynolds and his assistant Cpl Miller at the Storehouse.

The biscuit box wall is solid

Once the men are safely inside the order is given FIX BAYONETS and the squad is ready to “Fill the gap” in the wall.

“Pot that fellow”

CO1R Pirate booty – set includes Captain Henry Morgan burying treasure beneath a palm tree
CO2 The Home Guard
CO3 The Salvation Army Band – 14 piece set, limited to 100 sets
CO4R A bottle of rum – A pirate takes a drink of rum
CO5 Founder of the Salvation Army CO3 add on
CO6 Pirates playtime – Pirate, girlfriend and ships cat

Quite a strange mix of sets I think you will agree

The mealie bag wall is holding firm

Water is in short supply and a very precious commodity

The ammunition is being steadily used up and every means possible including bayonet and rifle butt is used to open new crates

The Redoubt is being stocked with supplies and men as a last defensive position

The position is held against overwhelming numbers.

At 0815hrs on January 23rd Major Russell of the 12th Lancers arrived shortly followed by Lord Chelmsford and his staff, all are greeted by Lieutenant John Rouse Merriott Chard, Officer Commanding the Mission Station at Rourke’s Drift.
