Walking Dead (WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS) (1 Viewer)

Maggie is due to be gone this season as well, which will make it the Darryl and Carol Variety Hour, with special guest star Michonne. Really interested to see who is running the chopper that has been shown in so many episodes. -- Al

It would be a real cheat, but one possibility might be that Rick is saved and whisked away by the helicopter folks. I'm ranking that as a low probability since he likely won't be back on the show, but who knows. It's a bit anti-climatic for him to go out as zombie shish kabob. Even after a weepy hour long dream sequence in which they get the band back together.

That wouldn’t shock me. I watch the Marvel shows on Netflix with my son and old characters keep showing up.

He's either #1 flashbacking as he is dying or #2 he's waking up from his coma and the whole show has been a dream. I think nit will be #1.

The writers better not pull a 'Dallas' on the fans. I would be Grade A ticked off.{sm2} -- Al

I'm thinking he dies since the actor apparently wants out but not from the zombies. He may be "saved" from that fate after a lengthy, introspective coma/dream sequence, but die from his wounds in the presence of the remaining main characters. I guess we will find out soon enough. The ratings are apparently way down but this season has been an improvement in my opinion over the last couple of seasons.

This has to be the most accurate guess as far as Ricks ending. And it has been the best season as far as zombie kills in my opinion since season 1.
"All long as the weird "garbage pail kid' lady dies soon I'm happy.

TWD was at it's best when the gang was on the road, fighting new threats every day and character driven. The story bogs down when centered around strongholds like the prison, Alexandria, and the other towns, the fight at Sanctuary being the exception. -- Al

It was announced on Talking Dead that he wont be back on the show but there will be AMC movies that continue his story.
Mark

It was also announced that AMC is expanding TWD universe with other shows and stories about the lives of other characters.

Oh lord, I honestly don't think I can take any spinoffs. Couldn't watch FTWD and I don't think I'll watch any others either. -- Al

????????

Did we saw the same episode

The shoppers are real , Rick is in on one of them, alive then...
The end of this episode ! Judith is now 13-14 years old; Carl in skirts with far more empathy .
I will wait for the next episode with impatience

For the 3 Musketeer it was 20 years later
Is it for The Walking Dead ... 10 years later ?

Best

I think the time warp is supposed to be 5 years later, at least that is what the talk show hinted at. -- Al

I thought it was a bit of a cheat and a very disappointing episode. Old Rick had more lives than a cat. How many times did he get thrown by his horse? That horse was the most cowardly four legger on TV since Mr. Ed. At one point Rick said to him "we are surrounded by zombies" and his horse said "who is we kemosabe?" I haven't seen a horse run that fast since Seabiscuit. If Custer had ridden that steed at the Big Horn he wouldn't have gotten within a mile of the Indians. The only cliché they missed in that episode was a long winded speech from Glen.

Thus my worry that the writers would wimp out, and they did. Rick was dead meat when he got impaled on the re-bar. I guess if Glen could hide under a dumpster with 2 inches clearance, then Rick could pull himself off re-bar and not bleed to death in the process.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Color me confused here; so he's not coming back to the show, he didn't technically die, the last image of him is being on a helicopter flying to God knows where?

I'm sorry, I don't get it, maybe my brain is scrambled from doing the Hackensack show over the weekend...……………..
