Walking Dead (WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS) (1 Viewer)

I’m not sure I’m in for this show anymore.
I'm almost at the same point. Too many characters that I liked are gone while too many I don't care about remain. Only Darryl and Carol and maybe arch-villan Negan still hold my interest. Losing Rick really kind of killed the show for me although I do want to see what they do with the Negan character. -- Al

To make the show more interesting, they need to give him more of a central role than he had last season.

Although there has been a lot of water under the bridge, I could see Negan becoming a leader against the threat the Whisperers represent, maybe even being the catalyst to the defeat of the Whisperers, but still being unable to live with the group because of past deeds. Sort of a 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' arrangement. -- Al

Quite a bit going on in the first episode but not a lot happening. The Soviet satellite was bizarre. I thought maybe they were going to start getting some answers about the zombie but it didn't come to much. A lot of filler.

Actually have found E-2, about The Whisperers, to be pretty interesting. E-1 didn't do much for me. -- Al

7 episodes in and this show is dragging. Seems to be going nowhere. Only interesting possibility, to me, is Negan with the Whisperers. -- Al

Let it go,,im still trying to figure ric being medevaked,,do a negan series,,

I must say that the mid-season finale caught me by surprise in terms of not realizing that it was the finale. Not sure that is a good thing. Even the 'cliff-hanger' ending was a big 'meh'. I mean, come on, the whole group sneaking around enemy territory then chases Alpha into a cave without a second thought? Must be a mass group stupidity thing. Even Darryl went in. The writers need to be better than this. -- Al

Yeah our group would have never survived this long being that stupid. They have really dumbed down Carol bad.

Saw a little trailer of the new spin off.I don't think it looks that good.
Mark.

To those still watching, and I'm one though it is getting harder, the show returns tonight from it's mid-season break. I'm thinking Batman is in that cave and will come to the group's rescue...:rolleyes2: -- Al

Underwhelming episode. Most of it took place in darkness of caves and as a result I couldn't tell what was going on most of the time. Writers were really reaching in this one and the 'meeting' between Alpha and Negan was really gross and unnecessary. I can't unsee that scene.{sm2} -- Al

That episode was terrible.

Beyond terrible.

Stupid on so many levels.

They need to get rid of that Kang woman.Negan and Alpha totally disgusting.{eek3}

So who got killed, those 2 girls who I don't even remember what their names are.And they destroyed the Carol character.

Yeah, nobody got ripped to shreds by the horde of zombies, but instead, what's her name and what's her face died in a mine shaft explosion.

Yes, they should have filmed that Alpha and Negan scene in the cave. I thought I was going blind because I couldn't see 90% of this episode it was so dark. Here is how I envision the creative forces behind this episode:

Writer.: How about everyone runs through a dark cave and a bunch of zombies chase them? And there are some close calls?
Producer: Genius.
Director: I'm sensing an Emmy nomination.

It also defies belief that one hardy band of misfits could kill so many of their enemies with nary a casualty. That kid was jumping around like Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon." I'm sure Daryl will eventually save those in the mine explosion. Thank goodness for DVR and FF. I watched the entire episode in about 15 minutes and even that seemed long.

I am not sure why I keep watching this show. I must feel I need to be punished for something in the past.
The Negan/Alpha scene??? I have a dollar for anyone who can tell me how that scene moved the story forward..
The cave was great..It hid all the badly written plot lines..It seems like we get one good episode for 3 bad ones.

Thank God for Better call Saul..
