He's not - that is supposed to be a Normandy Tiger - probably will have a WS number. (But I know Andy is just dying to get into the Eastern Front) At least with the German armour.

I do no remember any Cossack Cavalry-men in Normandy...
Cheers
This Tiger tank fought in the east at Kharkov and Kursk and don't believe it ever went to Normandy.

In April 1943 Tiger 812 "Tiki" was renumbered 833. In May 1943 "S" (schwere) replaced "8" as the first digit so 833 became S33. The unit appears to have retained this numbering scheme for the remainder of 1943. In March 1944 the unit was detached from "Das Reich" and formed the cadre of the newly forming independant heavy Panzer Abteilung s.SS.Pz.Abt.102 (which did serve in Normandy). All Tigers for this unit were the late model and it used the standard German numbering scheme.
Is it my eyes ,or is the Tiger running gear not as clean as AK039(SL),the tiger looks great until the running gear or is this just a rough prototype, rushed thro to be displayed at the show?NB this is merely a personal observation and is not meant to be critical in any way or to anyone. ken

Agree with Ken. There is a lot more "trash" around the wheels, and the teeth on both the drive wheel and track have disappeared on the new Tiger. Still, this won't prevent me from getting one. I like it. -- AlIs it my eyes ,or is the Tiger running gear not as clean as AK039(SL),the tiger looks great until the running gear or is this just a rough prototype, rushed thro to be displayed at the show?NB this is merely a personal observation and is not meant to be critical in any way or to anyone. ken
