Happy New Year to you all.Jeez, I made it this far.

Found a 36 Star Naval Ensign at an antique shop two weeks back.
Then found a flight deck helmet off my ship U.S.S.Inchon LPH-12 (I was with I/3/25th Marines in 1986)
I have every weapon we used (inc a BAR and 1915 ChauChat Auto-Rifle)from WW1-RVN.(No fully auto here).
All equipment,uniforms,trench knives,Winchester 12 ga.w/bayonet.etc.
K-Rats,C-Rats,Grenades,tobacco Hospital Corpsmen bags+equip.bolos,machetes,helmets..more,lots more
I gotta stop.Runnin'out of room at my place.I keep my wife plied with wine so she pays this little heed.

Hey,take care out there and be well!

Today the CDV of Captain Manson of the 79th New York (Highland Guard) and a WWI Tunic from the Gallipoli campaign arrived. Captain Manson's CDV is depicted on my New York Volunteer display, next to a CDV of an officer from the 1st Maine Light Infantry, the only other regiment in US service that adopted Highland garb. The Tunic will be displayed on a mannequin (which I ordered today).

I purchased these two items on my trip to Hungary, among MANY other things. Most of my possessions are packed up in anticipation of moving to wherever I get into graduate school, so it will be a while before I can post pictures of other stuff.

The ax is a fokos, or a traditional Hungarian herdsman’s axe cane, and it was used in the 1848 Hungarian revolution.

The sword was used by the Vienna Legion, a group of armed students who participated in the 1848 revolution. You can just see the edge of the Kossuth hat on the guard. The inscription reads, “Mit Gott für Recht und Vaterland,” or “With God for Right and Fatherland.”

This is a small selection of my 28mm Victrix Roman Legionaries and Auxiliaries that have been professionally painted and the 45x45cm terrain board is from the master himself, David Marshall, from TM Terrain. I love this little diorama.
