Nothing new, an effort to be rationale was treated with the usual disdain.;)
I find myself increasingly skeptical that anything about this hobby is rational. Tough times, money short, common sense short?, but still we spend our money on toy soldiers.:D Good thing I'm only 2 years old and don't have to answer to anyone but mommy. I will spend my allowance as I see fit. My TS army will eventually rule the world, anyway.:D:rolleyes::eek:

Yes, it is because you characterized your position as "rational" which implies that the other person's position is not. In addition, describing your attempts as being met with "disdain" is a subjective evaluation of what that other person's position is. Moreover, adding the word "usual" is another subjective putdown of that person.

Can we just give it a rest and move on or do we need to start pulling more posts?

Heck.
I've just realised this was a poll. I thought it was a maths test.

Ah well, just in case anyones interested, I made the total $3,450.

I worked this out on paper and didn't cheat by using a calculator or nuffink like that. Benefits of an old skool edukation.

I just love early retired K&C and depending how far I fall in love with a piece, or a set will determine the amount spent...so it's all about the love!:smile2:

As the members of the world's oldest profession probably say, "love has a price!" ^&grin
