Why collect artillery?? (1 Viewer)

Dear All,

Like many of us ...... I started collecting " the traditional and ever present marching bands....that would usually turn up under the Christmas tree....."
Time passes, and as I grew and got wiser I figured out that action figures were the way to go.....First came the tanks.....but now ARTILLERY is King, while machinegun platoons are the Queen of the battle fields....All other - Vehicles and infantry are supporting troops to great ARTILLERY dios.....Now a days I focus on Victorian Colonial and WW1, but also collect some ACW, Napoleonic, 7 years War and WW2....enjoying the techonogical improvements throught out the centuries......
Some of my sets ( many of which Obee has to be given the merit of the great art work ) now are part of my collection.....
As to the marching regiments and bands....well...they are now mothballed and most likely my wife will profit from them in a future estate sale......{sm4}:eek:{eek3}
