I'm not sure Brian - I'm still trying to work out why it appears to be reversing - and whether its a K8 or a K2/Y??

Hi Johnny,
Alan and I have been speaking to Dave Love with regard to the Austin Ambulance and he has confirmed that not only is it do-able but if he undertakes to make the masters now the extra cost to make it is minimal. So I have taken a chance and told him to go ahead. So you wil be able to have that ice cold beer in Alexandria after all.

Brian.

Hi Johnny,
Is that John Mills or Harry Andrews behind the wheel?

Brian

Brian,

I sent you a PM about a request arising from conversations at the Valley Forge Show yesterday - let me know what you think about producing the vehicle and figures discussed in the PM.:wink2:

There's only one possible reply to that Good News Brian -

CHEERS!

And now for something completely different.

Yeomanry Miniatures is pleased to announce that the Household Cavalry Maxim Machine Gun, once produced by Richard Newth-Gibbs, is now available again. While the horses and figures currently remain the same the carriage has been competely re-worked. The changes include:- new ammunition boxes, new sides and arm rests, new seats, re-worked stowage box at the back and new swords on the rear of the shield. I am currently putting together a mounted escort for this model and it can be made available as either 1st or 2nd Lifeguards or Royal Horseguards as photographed.

Regards,

I thought you might like to know that Yeomanry Miniatures now have their 1904 Rolls Royce Staff Car in production. There will be a few at the London Toy Soldier Show on 25th June and orders can be placed now.

The car and occupants comprising of Driver, 2 Staff Officers and a General Officer retails at £119.95 painted and £69.95 as a kit of parts, for all of you who prefer to do your own thing.

I enclose some pictures of the finished article.

See you at the show.

Dear Brian - you seem to be doing everything lately that I have wanted for quite some time. Please let me know when these (HC Maxim team), are ready to come off the shelf ( castings for me - as usual please) - and we're in business once again. I think mine will be a Life-Guard option. I'll be back in the UK in July - okay for then? johnnybach:cool:

Brian, I copied this photo from an earlier post in this thread ..... is the set pictured available now or is one that's currently out of production, thanks.

Hi Buster,

Yes the set is available. I very rarely retire anything from Yeomanry Miniatures list as, you never know, I might find the time to do one for my collection!

Regards,

Brian

Thanks Brian, could you tell what the price of this set is and what the S&H to the U.S. would be.

Thanks

B.

The Boer War/Northwest Frontier Limbered Maxim Gun with Driver and two seated figures on the Limber costs £135.95 painted and £76.95 as castings S&H to the US is 20%. If you want to add a mounted escort of an Officer, NCO and two troopers this is £134.95 painted and £70.95 as castings S&H 20% extra. The full set of Limbered Maxim Gun and Escort comes to £254.95 painted and £146.95 as castings. S&H 20% but I generally reduce this for orders over £200.00.

Regards,
Brian.

Hi Johnny,

Re the Household Cavalry Maxim Gun:
The painted versions I am taking orders for now. The casting version can also be supplied now if you don't want assembly and painting guides. I am not able to sit down and put those together until after the June show, so July should be fine.

Regards,

Brian.

2) Yeomanry Regiments in service dress: Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry, Sussex Yeomanry, Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars,Royal East Kent Yeomanry, Lancashire Hussars or Essex Yeomanry.

I am attaching some photographs of various examples.

Thanks Brian - A painting guide for 2nd Lifeguards might be nice - just to keep me from making any howlers (as a change from 1st) - so I will give you a shout around mid-July to confirm that I'm back in the UK for delivery - if that's okay. I would also like the Escort to go with the HC 3-man Maxim set- if they are available at that time too. If any other bits and pieces I'm after are ready by then - just let me know by PM or e-mail I s'pose - as I'll still be able to check on the web each day - if my grand-daughter allows me time to get online. (she has to sleep sometime!). johnnybach

Hi Johnny,

The escort to the HC Maxim Gun will be ready for the London Show in June. If you would like a painting guide that's ok but I think you might need an assenbly guide which is the hardest part to do.

If you send me an E-mail to yeomanryminiatures@virginmedia.com letting me know what bits and pieces your after I will see if they're in the planned production schedule for the next 12 months. If they're not and they are do-able I'll se if they can either be added in or added on.

Best wishes,

Brian

Have e-mailed you to clarify. Actually, your photos of new products are very useful indeed for both assembly and painting of castings - so I collect them into a little file that I have for future use. Many thanks for those - johnnybach

Thanks for the additional pictures, Brian. They're all quite nice, now I'll just have to decide which I like best, no easy task, but still leaning toward the Boer War/ NWF as the favorite ..... and then scape the $$$ together.:rolleyes2:

I thought you all may like to see more of Brian's troops.

I was requested by a US colletcor to paint some Irish soldiers in the servcie of Great Britain, and when I approached Brian he was able to provide me what I wanted.

A 8th (The King's Royal Irish) Hussars dismounted and a mounted Officer of The North Irish Horse, which is one of the Yeomanry Regiments.

Below is my painting, in gloss finish of the two castings, so I hope you like our (Brians figures and my painting) work on these two.

IrishYoeman.JPG

I have also purchased another set of 4 figures (not telling you yet) that I'm going to convert to Australians, but that's still to come, but I'll post them here and my website when they are completed.

Thanks for the service Brian,

John
