My friend, I don't have any sour taste about the European teams, and as you know I hate Drogadona and Argentina, when it,s come to Futboll. Even if we are fanatics about soccer I wasn't expect much from Brasil this year, and I mentioned before that I gave all the credits to Holland, and I even think that they was able to put 3 more goals in Brasil....also I have no frustration about England or Germany etc...I am just passionate and as you and your country men are.

In all seriousness I'll miss em , Weather you love him or hate him you must admit he is one of the true characters of World Cup 2010 . I had heard that if he won the WC title he was going to run through the streets naked Now that would have been funny , as I'm sure he would have done it . I love the game and I'm happy to see fans who are passionate for their team no matter who they are . My neighbor is 95 and her live in nurse is from Ghana , I will always remember the pride that shone on her face when they won . Its a Heartbreak for her to see Ghana lose , the emotion was very strong . Only this Game can make most of the world feel this way . Its GREAT All the best Gebhard

Hand of God aside he was possibly the all time best player, only Pelé comes to mind as possible competition. And I do enjoy his spirit and passion, his press conferences at the World Cup have always been a lot of fun. Not exactly a perfect person but neither was George Best (and this one might have gone straight to the all time top if not for...).
I understand that Maradona is considered a hero in Scotland, now I wonder why...

I do not think so but so far they admittedly have surprised everyone - including their fans in Germany.

The team which I consider the "wild cards" are Uruguay and the Netherlands. So far, I missed all games of the championship, but hope that wednesday I can sit on a pub with my friends and enjoy the game.

There is an interesting article that I just read at the BBC dissecting Maradona's and Dunga's behavior. Regarding Maradona, the article indicated that the warning signs were there in the Mexico match but either Maradona did not detect them or ignored them: one of them being playing Teves instead of Veron, who worked better with Messi.

With Dunga, the article highlighted what I had said: that he was too emotional and couldn't control these and these affected his players, which is why he is now an ex coach.

Perhaps someone can answer this for me but I've always wondered why the UK have three different teams: England, Scotland and Wales? I can't think of two many countries that have something similar.

Because I guess none of them want to give up their national team for a UK one,too much history now.There was talk of a UK team for 2012 but again it was voted down.
