Things that annoy me (12 Viewers)

Had two Camry's and great cars. Gave my last one to one of my son's and it's still going, no problems. Beamers have a bad rep, my nephew had one and transmission had problems, for which BMW is renown. Have owned several Lexus and Mercedes and yes they are more expensive but, for me, the quality is much better. Everyone has their own tastes and good to have choices.

What a drag it is getting old…….

As I get older I find myself wanting comfort and access more than anything.

I generally choose to drive our SUV or sedan over our truck or fun/sports car.

The sports car requires 47 yoga moves just to get into the driver’s seat and getting out of the truck requires a Sherpa.
I have the same problem but fun to drive!

Letting Fauci off the hook is a bit perplexing since his entire job and career were to prepare for a pandemic. He somehow made millions in this capacity. And when the pandemic eventually came, he was completely incompetent. If anything, his recommendations made a bad situation much worse by pointlessly closing down the entire country. It will take generations to recover from that incompetence. The only question left is whether his incompetence was intentional for political purposes and to cover his own involvement with the Chinese lab. Or was he just used by corrupt politicians to maximize the impact of the pandemic to undermine Trump? Either way, he failed miserably. Nothing RFK could ever do can ever top that. The media no longer reports at all on COVID. It's as though someone waved a magic wand and it has disappeared. I assume some people are still getting sick and even dying from it, but you would never know that from the media. In contrast, if a very few people get measles, it is a front-page story. That is the product of a corrupt media driving a desired narrative and ignoring anything contrary to the desired narrative.
Dr. Anthony Fauci was the highest paid employee in the entire U.S. federal government, with a closing salary of $480,000 a year...big money...more than the president...a 1/2 million dollars a year...he didn’t demand or extort this salary...he was offered this salary...he also netted more income through royalties, speaking engagements, awards, investment gains and royalties from publishing rights…so yes...obviously he made a lot of money...nothing illegal...

In the latter half of 2020, key advisors, specifically Paul Alexander, a Canadian scientist, was brought in under the Trump administration and he pressured federal scientist and public health agencies to suppress the current COVID-19 analyses and make them consistent to Trump’s rhetoric...birthing the concept of “herd immunity”…

Trump supported this idea...experts argued that “herd immunity” was unattainable without a massive death toll…

Dr. Fauci strongly opposed the idea of letting the virus purposely spread calling it “total nonsense”...the divisiveness of politics led many conservatives to distrust the previous health recommendations and not wear masks or get vaccinated…

President Trump and his administration were heavily criticized for down playing the virus’s severity, slow federal response and inconsistent messaging on masks and vaccines…

the death toll was astronomical…so...you blame Fauci?

Also I question the death toll as to what was correctly attributed to COVID-19...my aunt was in the twilight of her life...94 years old...due to “circulation problems”...they had to remove her leg...she passed away 1 day later...my cousins were advised her cause of death was COVID-19...they were flabbergasted...true story...

Also...since you alluded to what I will call “suspect cash grabs” from Fauci...how about Donald Trump?

Since returning to office in January 2025, Donald Trump and his family have generated at least 3 billion in just one year...not small potatoes...while sadly small business owners have suffered and gone broke with tariffs…

a $400 million jet..“a gift”…“free of charge”...Trump said...I don’t think so...that he plans to take after his term in office is over...what do you think the government of Qatar got for that?

As a result of his crypto sale by his family for another $500 million...a gift...I don’t think so...the Trump administration reciprocally approved the sale of Nividia’s advanced sensitive AI chips…quid pro quo...

you want an audience with Trump...or Trump’s favor...you better bring a gift…he’s a “gun for hire”…

whether it’s a $150,000 bar of gold from the Swiss...a $400 million Boeing 747 from Qatar...a Rolex watch...buying 49% of his “family crypto business”...golf clubs...the list goes on and on including a Nobel Peace Prize...the coveted FIFA Peace Prize...Trump and family have failed to report at least 117 foreign gifts...making billions not millions…

Breaking news out of Tucson Az. the suspect in the Nancy Guthrie case is described as of medium build & between 5,8" & 5'9". Great that narrows it down to just 200 million people. Progress is being made. If New York city was hit with a nuclear bomb it would be the second story on the national nightly news right after the Guthrie kidnapping story. The Lindbergh kidnapping did not receive this much coverage. At least with all this we don't have to hear about the Epstein files every night.

I've only had Two Toyotas, first was a 1979 Corona 5 door Liftback, Silver with Burgundy interior, replaced by a 1982 Camry 5 door Liftback, Silver with Grey interior, both were imported direct from Japan, and were attractive and reliable vehicles. Then switched to Aussie built GM/Holden Commodores for several years, not a wise decision in hindsight ;)

I would hope we never have another Covid epidemic...if RFK Jr. is going to handle it...we're in for a world of hurt...
I don't see how it could have been handled any worse than it was by Fauci. At a minimum, they should have recognized early on that healthy people were not at significant risk. The resources should have been directed at protecting the elderly and infirmed. But that didn't advance the political objective which was to inflict as much pain on the country as possible for political reasons leading into the 2020 election. So they shut down the entire country.

There is nothing wrong with making money. Trump and his family have legitimate businesses. In contrast, Fauci was a career government employee who somehow made multi-millions off his government salary. Maybe Nancy Pelosi was his broker. Bottom line. Trump's only mistake was relying on Fauci for advice assuming that since his only job was to prepare for a pandemic that perhaps he knew what he was doing.

Don't forget that he was also a "male." In the Dem party, that doesn't mean much since gender is undefined.

Without causing World War 3 and sticking solely to Fauci. IF you do a good bit of research and digging on him, it is pretty clear in my mind what he did over his career. I am not saying it is all bad, but he is one of the few actual government working stiffs who gamed the system and made a mint off of the Machine. I have someone in my family who was a Engineer who rose to a Chief in the ARL (Army Research Lab), he hit the highest ranking you could as a civilian and spent most of his time on TS and Classified DOD projects. He had I honestly forget how many patents and products that he and his team developed. He knew Fauci actually quite well. A few years ago, he compared his salary and patents to Fauci. He made the comment how it was rules for all and rules for Fauci and how Fauci got away with getting what they call "private" money for what should have been owned by the Government. He is not jealous in any way and basically said, "I made my choice, I could have gone private for way more money a long time ago, but I didn't". No sour grapes, just an buttssment. I, being curious, read alot about Fauci and there is a lot out there going back to the Aids Epidemic.

What do I think? I put him in the same category as career politicians - he used the system to his own gain and I would not always say the US interests (the people's) were on his top priority list, much like most of our current Polticians. They are supposed to have the honor and privilege to serve, to me, it looks more like they "take the right to steal or make money off of their power position".

One comment regarding Trump - Ivanka actually distanced herself as far publicly as she could from her Dad because it actually hurt her business. Ironic twist.

At best, Fauci was an incompetent who played the system to make millions. At worst, he was actively involved in the COVID research that resulted in more deaths than Dr. Mengele and the Holocaust and covered it up by politicizing the situation to elect Joe Biden. I don't think he was smart enough to do that, but he clearly was an incompetent. Any child would have concluded that COVID was a novel virus that just about everyone was going to get. The healthy were at almost no risk. The resources should have been directed at the elderly and infirmed and everyone else should have gone about their business. But that didn't suit the desired narrative which was to inflict the most pain on Americans. I have no doubt that certain politicians did not care how many people died if it meant that it harmed Trump's chances in the 2020 election.

Looks like a pretty big snowstorm suppose to hit Sunday/Monday. Just getting rid of most snow of last months storm and here comes another one.

I am a big fan of vaccines. I had to get vaccinated again for pretty much everything before a major operation. Spent months in hospital and didn't 'catch' anything. Got home and found that I hadn't been vaccinated fror shingles. Guess how I discovered that?
While at the doctors yesterday I remembered the forum Shingles discussion, asked for a vaccination which he arranged in a few minutes, couldn't get a flu jab as too early in the season, still Summer here of course. Feeling a bit sore in that arm today, with a slight fever and feeling off generally, but no doubt better than getting shingles again.

Fauci has received a "get out jail free" blanket pardon courtesy of President OTTO Penn, which conveniently, extends all the way back to Jan 1 2014 ... so it covers the period in which the gain of function research occurred that led to the development of the covid virus. I'll take RFK Jr anytime over that corrupt, inept, lying little weasel.

100% agree. Would love to dive into this topic, however world peace would be threatened. What got me regarding Covid, was when-ever some medical expert raised a hand and questioned the narrative or simply had a concern they way it was being managed, they got smashed, cancelled, labelled the most disgusting things, threated like dirt and plenty lost their careers in the process..........that fall out continues to this day and the hurt is real......

The shingles vaccine knocked me for a loop for 24 hours. I recall it is now a two shot deal spread apart by a few months. Sore arm and feverish for about 24 hours but like you say better than getting the shingles.

What the government's got from it, was that they can control people and convince them to do almost anything.
Here as well as the lock down, they were encouraging people to support the NHS workers by going to their door or lean out of windows and clap at a certain time and day each week, then they were encouraging people to bang their pots and pans as well !
Oh yeah, someone was sitting back and laughing their arse off !

Yep, back in 2 months for the 2nd shot. I'm feeling much better now, streaming Grimm series tonight, El Cucuy is one of the best episodes, old lady ripping up the bad guys :devilish::LOL:

seriously, would any of you RFK Jr. disciples take your family, children or loved ones to him for medical device?

I know nobody will respond to this...but for real...just think about it...would you?

I doubt it...

but can you honestly admit you wouldn't to yourself?

Buyers on Ebay who leave neutral or worse yet negative feedback over an item they purchased vs contacting the seller to see if a resolution can be agreed on..................as a seller, you can't fix a fvcking problem if you're not made aware of it now can you.

Idiots.

The blocked buyer feature is a Godsend.
