    Retired Items

He may well have meant, referring back to the original query regarding which items are being retired, that surely the easiest thing to do is go and look at the 'official' K+C website - can't be that hard to keep an eye on it, can it? :) My point being, however, that when 'trusted' and...

    Retired Items

Hi there I may be stupid, but - hmmmmm  - I don't understand what you mean - :)

    Retired Items

Certainly not the only one. With the sets I've decided to collect, which is a very limited number, I'm determined to collect almost everything 'current' and newly released from the moment I started collecting - I'm a bit 'anal' like that I'm afraid - and what with K+C releasing new product at...

    Retired Items

Thank YOU, for a) the quick response and affirmative action and b) putting my mind at ease and saving me from having to rush out and buy them straight away - :) Talking of 'buying' stuff, I know Rob was only joking, BUT, do you offer any kind of shipping discount to the UK - :)

    Retired Items

Hi everyone I've just had a quick look at the TT web site, KandC section, and noticed at least three items highlighted as 'retired'. I currently don't have any of them and started to panic  - maybe signs I'm becoming an addict, :( - because I wasn't planning to buy them yet. However...

    Whos Got Them ??

Echo that - cool looking dio - :) Please forgive my ignorance - what make are the figures with the rounded, black-edged bases?

    Mixing FoV and K&C

Interesting to know that about the PM figures - I did wonder about that. Haven't tried it yet with the one I have but I might do one day - :) I for one posted a similar query, re putting FOV/KC together, not so long back. I've got a Stug placed alongside a Waffen SS group - I thought the...

    Toy soldier collecting & addiction.

Can't say I'm addicted - with a baby on the way I'm gonna have to put several things on the back burner for a while - but I can definitely say I'm a keen collector, not just of toy soldiers - I've been collecting a variety of things since I was a boy - I reckon it's a 'male' thing - don't ask me...

What quality improvements should be made by KC and would it affect your purchases?

Thanks CS for another interesting and thought provoking post. I have to agree, with virtually everything in it, and especially with what you wrote in the three highlighted passages above. It's a well known and widely acknowledged fact that polystone doesn't offer anything like the level of...

How Do You Collect Your King and Country Figures??

Good to know there are some other relative newbies out there - :) IMHO, that's sound, practical advice. My passion is WW2 German - I love the K+C stuff for all sorts of reasons, one of them being the breadth of what they offer, but it's a double-edged sword isn't it - unless you have bottomless...

    K/C vs F.O.V. Scale ?

Yeah - I've currently got the one FOV vehicle, a Stug III, displayed with a 4 figure SS set and I don't think it looks all that bad - pretty good actually. The FOV range is quite varied and has some really good pieces - I think they might look OK alongside some of the K+C sets - :)

    K/C vs F.O.V. Scale ?

On a slightly related issue, how many collectors actually display K+C stuff alongside FOV vehicles? Do you find the difference in scale/size allows for this or is it generally too great? :)

What quality improvements should be made by KC and would it affect your purchases?

Canadian Samurai - that was a looooooong post, mate - but well worth reading - :) I wholeheartedly agree - as a customer it's important to feel reassured that the company you are buying your soldiers from are doing all they can to monitor their QC systems and that they are working. I've never...

How Do You Collect Your King and Country Figures??

I collect exclusively WW2 Waffen SS and LAH ranges. Presently, I'm working my way systematically through the LAH range and buying SS sets and vehicles as they become retired so I don't lose touch with them - but being new to the hobby, there's loads there, even in those two ranges, to keep me...

What Do You Like Most From King and Country ?

My toy soldier collection is very modest at the moment - less then one hundred pieces. I have only been collecting for a short time, and have a number of other hobbies I like to indulge as well. I came across K+C by accident when I walked into a local book and model shop near where I live and...

    Just like 44

Hi guys I don't know how many UK collectors buy from across the pond, but I for one certainly do. I'm not a BIG buyer, but on the last three lots I bought I saved over £50 per shipment on UK prices - that's everything taken into account: the USD price + shipping from the US [next to nothing...
