Britain's Zulu War (3 Viewers)

It is great to see all four sets used together. I really enjoyed sculpting these figures, and used together I hoped that they might convey the sense of intensity in the fighting at the barricade. I can't wait to get my samples to add to my collection!
All the Best,
Ken

These sets are awesome Ken, thanks for doing such a fine job on them. :)

Thanks for the kind comments on the new hand to hand sets!
The next catalog will have some nice additions to the AZW range sculpted by Alan Ball that should ad some variety to the defenders.
I have been pretty busy working on several other ranges these days along with the usual loose ends to keep things on track. Look for new additions to ACW, Napoleonics and Redcoats/Bluecoats.
Richard and I both spent a week on the road going to shows and visiting both new and old clients. Now we are both back at the desk playing catch up and finalizing the line list for the Fall catalog and beyond.
I will put all of your minds at ease now and tell you now that there will be more additions to the AZW range in our Fall supplement!
Thank you all for your support!

Ken, I must agree on the h2h sets and I look forward to similar things for Isandlwana, which I am sure will happen at one point in one form or the other. I also like the newer shield paint application a lot.
There are many matte releases but how about the gloss? Can we expect anything in the near future?

Looks like my wallet will be taking another beating LOL

My wallet is destroyed  trying to catch up with WB Hougoumont and now the Zulu range, and I have the 42nd Highlanders and 4th French Lancers pre-orderd to boot. What to do, what to do . I just love this habit . . . er, I mean hobby. :D

Thankfully I have maintained a tight reign and have stuck to the Zulu range. I Have been playing catch up as I onlt strated in December. Recently though I have added the Delhi Durbar to my habit/hobby :D Hopefully we will only get 1 elephant a year.......$450 is a lot of dosh

Ken you did a great job on the hand to hand sets. I only the first release but have the other 2 ordered, should receive in the next week or so. Planning to get the Cold Steel set. I actually think as time goes on the AZW figures are getting even better !!!

I agree Scott and hopefully this bodes well for the Sudan range then! ;):D

Great looking pictures Scott. I have been getting a little playtime in also. I am really getting anxious for the new AZW arrivals also. I am starting to realize that patience is not one of my strong virtues while waiting for the new monthly releases . I was hoping that they would be here earllier rather than later inthe month - hopefully soon. Kepp having fun -

Mike

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed them. I think I am also getting better with my photography skills too.

I agree with you Mike, it is nice to know what is coming our way but also it seems then like we have to wait forever :( Just a couple more weeks and we should have the new AZW figures and also our new club figure :D :D :D :D

Excellent photos Scott! Just like Scott and mike I am starting to get anxious also waiting for the new sets. But I guess I can hold out a little longer:).

Another snapshot of life in camp. Cook must be out of range, probably hacking at some great big side of beef. :D or maybe he is pouring soup on the other boilers :D

Scott,
Another nice one...You really need to ask Santa for some camp-life figures from WB, you know, cooks,;) I think I saw a croc in the shallows!:D:cool:

Or do you think he is hiding, as these Troopers wish to discuss yesterday's meal.:D

I don't collect items representing this era but these figures are really well detailed and the hand to hand fighting poses appeal more to me than the figures firing at more distant Zulus - doesn't seem sporting you know.

Here are some favourites and, I’m sure, soon to be favourites
