There is a wargaming convention I attend yearly in Lancaster PA in July and today, the convention director sent out an email updating the attendees and vendors. He told us as of now, the convention is still on and they are receiving literally daily updates from the convention hall director.
One thing that stood out to me was this; "Indoor events are still limited in size, social distancing is still in force (making space an issue), and going to Pennsylvania requires a negative COVID-19 test just before travel or a 14-day quarantine upon entering the state."
Can anyone who lives in PA speak to this; ie, is this true? So if I want to come to PA, I have to have a negative COVID test just before traveling OR I have to quarantine for 14 days once I enter the state? So in this case, short of a negative COVID test result, I'd have to get to the event two weeks prior and quarantine where? In a hotel room? In my van?
Any information would be appreciated...................
It looks like that may be true although it’s 10 days. See https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Travelers.aspx
Frankly, I’m curious how they enforce it. Is someone asking at the convention hall for your test results. I suppose that is possible. As John can attest, going to Hawaii requires a negative test before admittance. A friend who is going on vacation there (he and his wife have had their vaccinations) has to get his tests before he can enter the state.

Received my second dose of Moderna today. So far so good. There was almost no one at the facility where I received it. No wait at all.
