My oldest son, a platoon Sgt in the 101st, and his unit deployed to Camp Atterbury, IN for an exercise. He and 14 other soldiers in his troop came down with the COVID virus. Told me he was very sick for two days and then fully recovered. He has to isolate for 14 days.
I'm surprised the military is not vaccinating the troops. They give shots for everything else, we even had to take anti-Anthrax pills when the possibility of contamination (WWIII with the Soviets) was remote.
My wife is getting her second dose today. Chris
Glad your son is ok............I just took it as a given that the military would all be vaccinated, I guess I was wrong.
