GAME OF THRONES Season 8 (3 Viewers)

It's seems rushed enjoyable but feels like everything is happening fast compared to other seasons.

This was an astonishing episode. Visually stunning. The ease of the 'victory' was a surprise. The city looked a lot like Berlin, May 1945, then it became Dresden. There were other surprises, Cersi doesn't face the punishment I imagined but her demise was still very painful. I see The Mountain still retained some of his earlier self. A lot to digest. Again, heaps of people suffer terribly because of bad decisions. I thought this episode was far better than the Battle of Winterfall. Much grimmer and personal stories were more effectively explored. Wow...

When one has a weapon no one else have you use it. We had the bomb and used it. Dany had the dragon and used it. The results were the same. Next week’s coming attractions have a Leni Riefenstahl look to them. Will her reign last a Thousand Years or one week?

Prediction: Dany heads to winter fell to kill Sansa (Sansa told her the north will never follow her and also told johns secret- Dany hates her). That will be the straw that causes John, Arya and Tyrion to kill her

Gendry takes the throne as Robert’s rightful heir with John as hand

hmmmmmm...
not much to fight over anymore...
a pile of stone rubble...
a melted pile of steel swords that used to be the throne...
a handful of living burnt subjects...
Westeros is pretty much a burnt piece of toast...
the Clegane Bowl was anticlimactic...
no clear winner...
Uncle Fester vs Darkman...
kind of disappointed with the script...
seems like they didn't think this through and just threw something together...
but enjoyed the show...
enjoyed the series...
I have not read the leaks for the finale...
don't have a clue who will rule...
but the list has gotten shorter...

did I see flashes of green wildfire going off during Drogon's fire frenzy?

I read some quotes today from Amelia Clarke, Masey James and others that many people will not like the ending. Maybe it is the Thousand Year Reich. Who knows. One thing I do know is I’m that the ratings will be through the roof.

I have a position in SBUX in my stock portfolio...

this is a GOT related article...

The buzz around the cup accidentally left in a 'Game of Thrones' scene is also worth more than $1 million in free publicity for Starbucks

"We're saying this is a Super Bowl--sized television series. We're comparing this to a 'Transformer' franchise, and 'Transformer's' deals of this type are around $250,000 to $1 million," Jones explained.

Comments - Dragons win.........see why I am pissed with the death of the other dragon???? Both Dragons should have survived and we would not have had an hour long firestorm, it would have been over in 5 mins. What an *** kicking! Reality if you call it that set in, the biggest army and best weapons won out, I am good with it. I like Dany, she might was well finish the job, although something tells me we will get a twist.

According to the "rules" Jon is the rightful heir, technically she should kill him.

I read somewhere that the producers consulted with George Martin to see if what they proposed to do was too radical or not in line with his thinking (or something like that) and he either approved or had no objection. Do you buy that?

Re John the rightful heir, really gendry is. He’s the natural born son of Robert Baratheon

Big surprise coming if rumors are true.{eek3}{eek3}{eek3}

Sure about that? Remember a Targaryen was slain on the throne unlawfully by the Kingslayer. I thought the Citadel records were hidden so that Jon Snow would not know to assert his claim as the true king?

Depends how you look at it. If Robert was a rightful king, it’s gendry. If not, it’s John.

The other issue is that gendry is a bastard. I don’t know the rules of bastards in Westeros! 😉

gotta go with John...
Gendry was made the Lord of Storm's End...
he's content...

the Seven Kingdoms...
it was ruled by Targareyns before Baratheons...

so John again...even though he doesn't want it...

all I know about bastards...
is that they are given the last name of Snow...
an unusual custom...

there is nothing left to rule over anyway...
just a pile of rubble...

I was actually cheering for the Dragon, great cinematic work!!!!! One complaint, when Cersei was looking out at her impending doom with Drogon on his way, I was hoping like anything she would stand there and suffer the full force of the Dragon, that would have been more fitting!!!!!!!
