K&C Napoleonic Corner (2 Viewers)

Hello everyone,

I just recieved tow King's German Legions solider today in the mail. Anyone else collect these figures? Out of all the napoleonic K&C figures I like these the best.

Dom

There aren't too many of them and they are hard to find.

A few more pics of my diorama. Wife not exactly thrilled with my collecting but she made the Tricolor for the table. :D Plan to widen the table to add depth.

There must be something wrong with your 71st Highland Infantry ;)

I think these will help - they are using French Dragoons for target practice :D:D:D

Mark,

yes they are very nice figures and are made by Alexanders Toy Soldiers, http://www.ats-uk.net/. When I was in UK in 2008 I went to visit Nik in his studio/workshop in Twickenham where I he showed me how he cast, assembled and painted the figures. He's got a huge range and its always increasing so keep a lookout on his website for more figures, the latest Napoleonic is a Royal Artillery Lifting Gyn, where the gunners are manhandling the barrel onto the carriage, being supervised by the Sergeant and Officer.

You can buy all the figures as either castings or painted figures and Nik has about 12 different poses of British Infantry from this period, pre 1812 so siutable for the Peninsular Campaign. I think if you have a look at the images in the Thread from the recent London Toy Soldier Show you can see a lineup of them. I was at the show in June and took an image so if its not already on that thread, I can post it for you to see.

Here are more from Alexanders Toy Soldiers in my collection, this time the Retreat to Corunna.

Nice to see the Prussians included into this thread, they are slightly lacking unlike at the Battle of Waterloo....... but its no good complaining in this area of the Forum, as its been explained many times why we don't see any :) :)

Love the Gun Line.... what figures are they?

John

Obee

Thankyou for the info on Alexanders Toy Soldier sets ,I will start saving my pennies and buy a few sets:D:D. Fantastic soldiers you have in your collection i`m very jealous.

I might even have a go at painting a few myself, maybe into the

11th North Devonshire or even better the 46th South Devonshire infantry of foot.

Even though most of the 46th served as Royal Marines during the Napoleonic wars, Maybe even a few of them might have even been on board HMS Bellerophon in Plymouth Sound during Napoleons surrender.

Very best wishes Mark

Thanks John! Great painted figures by the way, I,ve seen them all before on your site!
Most of the figures in the photo are plastic figures that I,ve painted and converted. Most are the new Hat but I cut them up and reworked them pretty good so you might not notice them as Hat figures. Most of the artillery figures are HAT. There are also some Frontline and Mulbury mixed in and 2 mounted Del Prado figures. There are also some Italeri and AIP plastics figures and even Conte WWII GI converted to Landwher. Also mixed in are metal castings from Black Cat Miniatures I painted up.
I,m trying to build up a Prussian army for future larger dioramas I have planed but getting all the figures converted and painted up is very time consuming.
Here is a link to some of the figures in the ruff stages!

Thanks again guys!
