At this point in the playoffs, all I ask is a competitive game as aside from that comback by Green Bay in what was a blowout at the time, these games have been just flat out terrible.

And FWIW, when a QB throws a INT and then gets blind side blocked when he has no shot to make the tackle is just about the most bush league play in the NFL, the old "Here's my chance to take a free shot at a defenseless QB and be the hero"...................more like a gutless zero if you ask me.

Stupid Ravens have shot themselves in the foot so many times tonight. This was a winnable game and Manning was ok, good enough but nothing more.

Wow, 2 games. I don't know Brad, you could say Manning was perfect on the drives that mattered. The Ravens looked inept on offense.

My heart goes out to Ed Reed, 2 interceptions negated. Once again, consistency rears its ugly head. BIG penalties at the wrong time and BIG plays at the wrong time.

Also, the secondary (mainly Foxworth) sucks, was Reggie Wayne ever not open???

Not that upset about Cards, nice to see the Saints, how about Reggie Bush's run in the early game, WOW!

well my Ravens played terrible at the worst time....against the colts, so tis the end of a strange season, still think we have a great offensive line, rice, were not that far off on offense for next year, plus we'll still have a solid defense, holding my head up high for next year....oh Brad (jazzeum) I hope your "STUPID" Jets get stomped tommorow by the Chargers...Sammy

Sammy,

I was rooting for your team so chill out. They blew a lot of opportunities. I was hoping for a title game in NJ, a long shot I know.

The Jets will probably lose tomorrow but I doubt they'll play any worse than the Ravens did tonight. Oh yeah, Cards looked great didn't they?

title game in New Jersey????? please... Chargers 31 ...Jets...17 and that's being modest, the colts and bengals gift wrapped playoff scenerios for the jets, it may be more of a blowout then the cardnal game.

Sammy,
I would not count the Jets out yet, stranger things have happened however, the Chargers are hot. Something tells me tomorrow's games will be closer than todays.

Oh yeah, Since the Steelers were not that far off the Ravens, yes and we did win the last one, I can't wait til next year........

Ray Rice was off his game tonight, too many drops on receiving. Basically, like I said, the Ravens were inconsistent all year in big games and the penalties reared their ugly head tonight. I was rooting for them, but they just came up against a deadly football team tonight, Manning is just that good, he really is a field general and is tough for any team to beat him. Destiny was with the Colts tonight, the Ravens just had a tough go.

As for the Cards, they were awful and just got whooped, the Aints made it look real easy in the Big Easy! I forgot how fast and quick Reggie Bush is since not watching him since USC days. And Drew Brees is another one, would love to see him and Manning duke it out in the Super Bowl. But anyhow, regarding the Cards, they looked like they were not even on the same playing level tonight as the Saints.

Long Live the Black & Gold, Steeler Nation returns in 2010.

I will be happy with anyone but the Vikings. I can't stand Favre ever since his 1st come back :D Would love to see the Saints win it all. I think it would be a great thing for a organization that has struggled for so long and a city that could really use a lift.

I love Farve; what an amazing lad to play at this level at his age, or any age for that matter. For me, anyone but the Cowboys would be OK.;):D

Teams I can root for are getting knocked out. Will have to support Colts and Saints now. Can't stand the Cowboys (long time 'skins fan) and Vikings have Favre ('nough said). Seeing Colts and Saints SB sure would be fun. The Ravens managed to blow a winnable game, once again. Same problems we saw all year, penalties and turnovers. Guess I will pull for the Jets and hope the Cowboys-Vikings beat the crap out of each other and go 6-7 quarters. On a lighter note, baseball is creeping closer and closer to go time. -- lancer

Come on, lads! Let's hear a little Viking love!

The media man-crush on the Cowboys is overwhelming. Can't wait for the game to begin to show what some Norsemen can do!

Sammy,

I said a title game in NJ would have been a long shot but if the Jets win today -- a big if, I'm the first to admit that -- and if the Ravens had played like they did against the Pats instead of like the guards team in The Longest Yard, there might have been a chance. Don't forget the Jets are/were seeded higher than the Ravens.

As far as the Colts gift wrapping it, no question but the Bengals played most of their starters in the first half and the Jets kicked their butts. Last week further proved was the better team.

Like I said today is a long shot -- rookie coach and rookie QB -- but the future looks good for this team. .

I heard today that the Colts had campaigned the NFL to have the number one seeds play on Saturday so that the teams they played yesterday and will play next week would have less time to prepare. This seemed to work for both teams yeterday. However, had the Pats won, the Jets or Bengals would have had a full week of rest. The advantage though seems to come with next week's game because both number ones will have had an extra day more than their opponents to rest up.

Looks like the Cowboys are likewise shooting themselves in the foot. If this trend continues, it may be number 1 v. number 2 in next's week finals.

That was a brutal beating the Vikes put on Dallas. Still can't get over MN playing in a dome instead of freezing cold and snow in the playoffs. Should be a good game with the Saints. I think MN will win given how well their D is playing.

Oh, Sammy....Sammy, Sammy, Sammy :D:rolleyes::D How about it Sammy, Jets 17 - 14.

I can't hear you :D:D:D

Wow - what a day! It goes to show that being the 'hot' team can be overrated. I think sometimes teams can play really well for a short stretch...but it's hard to maintain that level of intensity over a long haul (which is partly why nobody goes undefeated).

The NFC will play out like we all expected a few months back...Saints & Vikings. Should be wild!

Brad, where did these Jets come from? Gotta like Indy...they get to play the #6 and #5 seeds.
