How does a superbowl team go from winning it all, to losing to the raiders, chiefs, and now the browns???

The NFL is getting what it wants this year; complete and utter competive play.
Last year, the Steelers, Titans, Panthers and Giants all had first round byes and if the season ended today, not a one would be in the playoffs.
I love watching the Giants play if for no other reason that so see Coughlin act like an escaped mental patient on the sidelines, talk about a guy who's wrapped way too tight, I picture him blowing a head gasket at some point and going face down onto the turf, his face gets as red as a tomato by the time a game is over...................
Coughlin is a little animated...almost a Cower wannabe...but look at the alternative...I got Wade Phillips...I wish he would show a little emotion and fire those guys up...he's like a cardboard cutout...no emotion...no spark...no fire...
he is not inspiring or motivating on the field to me.
You might know that the other teams in this usually strong division would chose THIS year to self distruct after the Skins had already burned their bridges. This is not exactly the time to be showing signs of life (and offense) but perhaps it will save Zorn.Another weekend of interesting games. First off, both the 'skins and Ravins managed to win so I am happy. I think the Saints got lucky, again. Not a lot of surprises in the other games. The NFC East is in chaos. Does anyone want the title? Evidently, only the Eagles. The Giants continue their decent to disaster as does Dallas. What's up with the Cowboys, anyway. They can't seem to win in December even if they were playing their own cheerleaders. The last three regular season games are going to be a dogfight for the teams still in the playoff hunt. The Redskins are in a good position to spoil a couple of seasons. -- lancer
Yeah, it figures. The division title is there for the taking and the Redskins go in the tank from the start. At least they are looking like a real football team of late. Hope they keep Zorn and maybe even stick with Campbell. -- AlYou might know that the other teams in this usually strong division would chose THIS year to self distruct after the Skins had already burned their bridges. Reading this morning that Cincy WR Chris Henry died in some kind of freak accident during a domestic dispute. It seems like a lot of these guys stay in trouble or hang with the wrong crowd. Sad news.
Too funny, the guy is a total buffoon, if Dallas misses the playoffs yet again this year, he's as good as gone, Jones must be ready to flip his lid/rug/dead animal on his dome..................
George...you know....
despite any sign of animation or display of emotion on the sideline...
which I wish he had some of...a little outward passion...
his record with the Cowboys is 30-13...
pretty impressive...
yet he has failed to win any of the big games and is criticized for their poor late season finishes...no playoff wins...
I think Garrett will be named head coach next year...Jones is very egotistical and can't stand being out of the playoffs after his early success...
Coincidentally...Garrett is being strongly criticized as offensive coach for the poor offensive output in their games...
Dallas must beat New Orleans Saturday night...and it's a longshot...
the line is currently New Orleans minus 8...which is very low in my opinion...
Dallas should beat Washington the following week...
but Philly has a softer schedule and the final game of the year...
Dallas vs Philly could be "moot" before kickoff...
if Philly wins the next two...
NY also has beaten Dallas twice this year an holds tie-breaker decision...
Grn Bay...with two wins will probably clinch the Wild Card...
so Dallas is pretty much out if they lose to New Or Saturday night...
excluding a complete collapse by Philly...
Dallas is pretty much "toast"...
I'm tired of eating "toast" too...
I'll remain a strong loyal fan...win or lose...
born in Dallas...Baylor Hospital...
graduated from SMU...
lived there for 5 years...win or lose...
I'm silver and blue forever.....
How they lost twice to that God awful Giants team is beyond me
