Jeesh, I sure would like to see the Raven's defense keep up the good work. Looked good against Houston. That is a tough outfit. The 'good' Flacco showed up. Hard to believe he was the same Qb from last week.:p -- Al

Harbaugh is a great coach but he really gets under the skin of his opponents. Almost a riot at the end of the 49ers-Lions game. He really PO'd the Lions coach.

That was classic!! {sm4}

Dallas did really well against the Pats- got to watch most of the game, very impressed with what they did- lose by 4 at NE and stayed competitive the entire time, simply beat by a better team. Still, at 2-3 things are a bit worriesome. Still not sold on Romo, never will be. Brady runs a good hurry up offense. Looks a bit disorganized at times but they pull it off.

Actually thought Dallas had this one, one first down for the boys and I think it would have been over, you just can't give Brady the ball with 2-3 minutes left in a game...Sammy

It was a tough game, just glad my Ravens are finding away to win this year at the end, instead of allowing teams to score at will in the 4th qurarter like last year, so Jags/cards next 2 weeks then up to Pittsburgh for what I think could be the AFC North biggest game of the year...Sammy

Out of respect for the integrity of the game of football, the Vikings have decided to end the season early.

I wish...

They are both giving shameful effort this fall.

I went to my local high school game last Friday night...and left at the end of the 3rd quarter, down 35-0.

This isn't my year/decade/century/life.

This is about the worst offensive display I've seen in many a year. I would bench Sanchez.

Pete,
Sounds like Red Sox fan pre 2004 and a Patriots fan pre 2001.

Not to mention 39 years between Bruins championships and 22 years between Celtics championships.

All I can tell you is hang in there, good things come to those who wait..............

Just got back from the Jets game. Great win over the Chargers. Defense looked good in the second half, stopped the Chargers cold. Some idiot Charger fans this past week had been making claims about how they would make Revis look bad, etc. Guess Darrelle took care of that. Sanchez was pretty effective the second half. Good rushing attack today. Overall, their best game of the year.

Watching that game today, I was totally amazed on a number of levels.

Amazed at the Chargers and the way they melted down and gave the game away,up by 11 and they kept throwing the ball instead of hammering away on the ground.

Amazed at how horrible of a coach Norv Turner is.

Amazed at how the Jets continue to be able to cash the checks fatso writes with his mouth; classless comments this week on how if HE was the coach of the Chargers, he'd have two super bowl rings (to go along with the two he's won as Jets coach).

Lastly, amazed at how incredibly bad the refs were; what were there, 427 penalties called, some of them were just God awful calls.

Amazing.

Norv might be a horrible coach but he's an offensive genius:rolleyes2: At least that's what we in DC were told for years before it was obvious to all (including Dan Snyder) that Norv couldn't coach or offensive his way out of a wet paper bag. -- Al

Maybe in your eyes it was classless although if you'd listened to the interview, you would have seen there was a certain amount of jocularity to it. However, was anything he said about Norv untrue? The guy's a terrible head coach.

Nothing was given away today: Jets were a better team, that's all there's to it. They led in every offensive category and the defense found a way to finally stop their slide.

BTW, your friend Fireman Ed says hello :D

How do you know you're a horrible coach; if you're up 21-10 on the road and you lose 27-21, outscored 17-0 in the process to close out the game.

And the three blind mice who refereed the game need to understand that if an offensive player moves FIRST (like the Jets did today) then the defender jumps offsides, it's a FALSE START, not DEFENSIVE OFFSIDES.

Good God they were awful.

And speaking of awful, how bad are the Colts and the Doofins?

Another Vikings loss...but at least Ponder shows some signs of hope. Step #1 towards the 2012 season.

62-7 its a cricket score,Go saints...............:D:D

Don't look now, but there is a possibility that the balloons in Washington and Detroit have burst.:rolleyes2: Also, if the Colts are as bad as they seem to be, Manning may retire instead of further risking his health.:wink2: -- Al
