N.F.L. 21-22 Season (5 Viewers)

The Cowboy-Raiders game turned out to be entertaining. And another great fan fight at the concession stand. The holiday spirit was in the air. If you are going to jump over the counter to administer a beatdown to a customer, don't land in the spilled nachos and fall on your face. Those were a couple of tough broads who delivered those old-school haymakers. They could have played for the Flyers back in the 70s.

looked like Tyson vs Holyfield...
don't mess with those concession girls...
they work hard for their money...
so hard for their money...
so you better treat them right...

when it rains...it pours...

Ezekiel Elliot is out this next week with a knee injury...

Blake Jarwin...starting TE is also out with Covid...

this is brutal...

Brady who???....give the Pats all the accolades after today's win against a good Tennessee team, right now the steal of the draft is Mac Jones in a landslide!!! Hello Chicago, S.F. and whoever else past on the guy from Bama....George, you owe me some love...I remember a post back in pre-season where I talked up Jones and you were very "whatever" type response😅😅

He's gotten better week by week, they took the training wheels off as for the first 4 to 6 games, he was throwing short, dumping off the ball, not throwing downfield, they started 2-4; since then, 6 wins in a row and he has a nice touch on the ball.

8-4 is awesome, the Bills game is going to be interesting.

IMO, the Patriots are playing with house money, we'll see what happens from here on out.

My Rams are officially in a death spiral. None of their overhyped "stars" have shown up. Von Miller has turned out to be Von Zero. Stafford has become Goff II. Aaron Donald is the most overrated player in all of sports. I'm so tired of the commentators talking about him only to watch the entire game and never see him make more than a play or two. With all the alleged talent that they have on defense it is incredible to watch teams run over them week after week. Troy Aikman gets the award for dumbest comment of the week when he said it was "unfair" to compare the Rams DC this year to the Rams DC from last year. Huh? The Rams defense last year was the best in the NFL. This year it is the worst. They haven't lost anything in terms of talent and picked up Von Zero. So what else can it be except the lousy coaching? He didn't say.

There were some humbling stats noted in the Rams-Packers game. Stafford in his long career has never apparently won a game against a team that is +5 games in the win column. The Packers have not lost back-to-back games under their current coach. Aaron Rodgers is 72-1-1 when leading at halftime! The Rams have won only one game this entire season against a team with a winning record. The Rams have the Cards, Ravens, Vikings, 49ers on the schedule to end the season. Three of those are road games that they likely lose.

I watched that game...
Rodgers rarely misses on his passes when the receiver is open...

the Browns/Ravens game was hard to watch...
Jackson 4 interceptions...and they still won...
QBR rating of 45...
it's amazing they have an 8-3 record...

Unfortunately the LA press provides a lot of unmerited accolades to hometown team at all levels, thus causing unrealistic expectations. The only thing worse is the way the press pans the teams after a loss! Glad I don't live in LA!

OH Mike, have you not heard? If you live in Baltimore, they are the greatest team in history to ever take the field. Nothing is going to stop them, they might as well be crowned champions now............................... :) I kid you not, as I like to say, you just can't make it up. One thing when I retire out of this State I will NOT miss is Baltimore based sportscasters and newspersons. And I forgot, Lamar Jackson is already a better QB than Tom Brady...............................

The whole season of the Ravens has been hard to watch!! Beginning with having 15-20 guys all year on injured Reserve, if you told me the Ravens would be 8-3 a number 1 seed after 11 games with the injuries, Jackson playing his worst season as far as interceptions and accuracy I'd laughed you out the room...but as crazy as this season has been I'll take some luck, gutsy plays, Tucker, and anything else that can deliver a win!!

brutal month on getting 1st string players suited up...
Cowboy's Terence Steele...starting right tackle has now tested positive...
Covid and injuries this last month has been a nightmare for getting players on the field...

but now it's coaches this week...
8 coaches including head coach McCarthy are all positive...

McCarthy being out...might be a good thing...
I'm no big fan of his...all I ever see he really does...is stand there on the sideline...

Mike:

I get my fair dose (overdose) of Cowboys coverage when I am home.

McCarthy seems to get too much credit whenever they win and practically no blame when they lose despite the fact that during games he appears to do nothing.

I know they are depleted but I hope Dan Quinn gets the win Thursday and more importantly I hope Cowboy fans realize that McCarthy has nothing to do with the team’s success.

Jason...
he has made some bone headed calls this year...
especially on clock management...
again...I'm not nuts about him...but like all coaches...
he gets credit and he gets blame...
last 4 weeks...the Cowboys are reeling with injuries and Covid...
their fast start and dominant offense has disappeared...
don't expect their defense to win any games for them...
last week somebody on here said the difference in the NFL between starters and replacements is a wide margin...
the Cowboy's team is a perfect example of that...
unplug 2-3 starters from their team...
and they look dismal...

Redskins are on a role to the SB!:rolleyes2: From 2-6 and last place at their break, the Redskins have won 3 straight (all against MVP Qb's) and are now in 2nd place (I know, it is only the NFC East, still...) at 5-6 and back in the Wild Card hunt. I have no illusions about them, but it is nice to see them win a few games for a change. Their final 6 games are tough, Raiders, Cowboys and Eagles twice each, and the Giants. 3 wins of these 6 would be great, but 2 wins more likely. We'll see... -- Al

Al...

I watched that game...
Heinicke looked pretty good...
the defense looked very good...
the ending was a thriller for sure...
that on side kick that the refs negated for an offside was huge...
but a win is a win...

All i can say is gooooooooo Greenbay. 9 and 3 and still haven't played their best football. Injuries and Covid have played a significant role in how teams are faring. Lookout for the Patriots.

He's not a bad coach; he did get the Packers their only Super Bowl win this century vs the Steelers in 2010 and he's done a decent job with the Cowboys, he's much, much better than Garrett, he was God awful, how he lasted as long as he did is a mystery to me.

He got bounced out of New York, imagine being fired off of that train wreck of a coaching staff of a tire fire of a team, man do they flat out stink.

explain this...
Amari Cooper has been activated for tonight's game...
yesterday they said he was still coughing from his bout with Covid...
and today he's well enough to play...lol...
doesn't seem right...unless they were lying about his recovery...
but okay...just shows how desperate they are to win a game...

I can hear the huddle now...
"cover your mouth when you cough Amari"...

speaking of Covid...
Antonio Brown is suspended for 3 games...
along with 2 other TB players (one who is now a free agent and on no roster)...
for using falsified Covid vaccine cards...
sort of seems like the same scam Rodgers pulled off...
trying to deceive the the NFL about being vaccinated...
but he got no suspension...
that's all I'm gonna say about that...:rolleyes2:

Define irony…..

Bruce Arians is one of the most immunocompromised individuals in the NFL.

Antonio Brown was given a second chance at life in the NFL thanks in large part to Arians’ efforts.

Brown’s actions could kill the very man who saved him.
