N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

See Mike; I can say nice things about other teams, isn't that swell of me?

yea...that's real good...
you should win the Jimmy Valvano Good Sport of the Year award...

but the truth is...
you sang a different song when the Cowboys beat your Pats at Gillette...
the same week that the Astros knocked your Sox out of the playoffs...
saw the real you then...

win or lose...doesn't matter...if you don't think you're a poor sport...you just keep believing that...lol...

Isn’t it about time for you guys to bury the hatchet (but not in each other!) and move on. We always have differences with friends but isn’t life too short to let a friendship wither away?

(Trying to be peacemaker) Brad :smile2:

Another topic - Urban Meyer. IMO - He was a jerk at Florida, an even bigger jerk at Ohio State...................so what do people expect? Now in my opinion, he is a full on LOSER in the Pros. What a disaster case, Jacksonville needs to seriously take out the garbage and start looking elsewhere. This guy is just a POS human being.

TD

Yeah, let's move the **** on, enough is enough.

He called out his coaches, said they were losers and what have they ever won.

The owner of the Jaguars is a self made tycoon, started out as a dishwasher, did it all himself, so he's no dummy.

Yet he hired that moron.

A real head scratcher.

I tend to think that college head coaches don’t make it in the NFL because the environment, drafting/free agent signings vs. recruiting and getting paid vs.scholarships, those things change everything.

You can’t motivate a grown man making guaranteed millions the same way you do a young kid on scholarship.

Also the playing field in the NFL is much more equal than it is in college.

Finally, in the NFL you are ranked by wins and loses, not strength of schedule and other meaningless garbage.

A stink has followed Meyer around like "Pigpen" on Charlie Brown. He is an arrogant ego maniac even by coaching standards. He has had some great successes but also a ton of disasters. With that said, not many coaches could help the Jags this year.

Dallas sucks...
Dak throws one interception after another...even with a bad pass rush giving him sufficient time...he doesn't execute...
Quarterback rating today of 58.8...
Zeke can't run the ball up the middle...
they have no run blocking for him...
Kellen Moore can't close out a game with his play calling...
24-0...they start running the ball...ineffectively...
3 and out...3 and out...3 and out...3 and out...3 and out...
that's okay against really bad teams...
but if they make the playoffs...
this offense can't get the job done...
when the playoffs come...
they will be one and done...

The NFL really needs to change that rule that provides a presumption that the call on the field is correct if the refs are not supposed to blow the whistle on a close fumble. That creates a presumption in favor it being a fumble even if the ref on the field might think it was not a fumble. In most such cases, the review official just upholds the fumble ruling which may or may not be the way the official on the field would have called it.

Things are starting to shape up playoffwise; in the NFC, IMO anyone of the Cardinals, Cowboys, Rams, Packers or Tompa Bay can get to the Superbowl......in the AFC, it's a one horse race, the Chefs are rounding into form, explosive offense combined with a solid defense, they are going to waltz to another SB appearance.

The NFC is going to be a war, the AFC is going to be a march of the tomato cans.

A really tough week for the AFC playoff contenders with losses by Pittsburgh, Cincy, Buffalo, and Baltimore. Only KC and NE are playing well. I can't remember any weekend when so many teams fell behind by 20 points or more only to come back and make it close only to then lose. Huge game for the Rams tonight. A must win situation for them if they are going to have any chance to win the division. They haven't shown the ability to play with any elite teams, though. No way do they go on the road as a wild card to places like Green Bay in January and win.

I’d be surprised if the Rams won tonight and hoping that they don’t so the 49ers can stay one game behind. Of all the present WCs in the NFC, the only one capable of beating GB are the Niners because they’ve done it before although in all fairness GB finally broke that curse this year. It’s going to be difficult to pick a winner from TB, Arizona and GB. Never bet against Brady. The sports world would go gaga if the SB was NE vs TB.

The two week lead up that game would be insufferable, please Sports God, no, 1000 times no.

They showed a shot of Brady's Father in a luxury box after the winning TD yesterday; holy smokes, he looks bad................as in really bad..............he'd better get on that concussion water/avocado ice cream diet ASAP...........

I'm thinking a rematch of last years Super Bowl.......unless Arizona, Dallas or whoever upset the applecart.

"Belichick says that the advanced scouting department studies "everything" pertained to an opponent, including Hard Knocks with the #Colts. Belichick adds: "there are a lot of reasons I wouldn't be excited about [being on Hard Knocks]."

Oh boy; did Belichick just admit to watching another teams practices?

Looks like they'll be losing yet another first round draft pick.................can't wait for the book written by a guy who knows a guy who knows the cousin of the brother of a guy who cuts Belichick's lawn.

The Rams suddenly have a laundry list of players out tonight due to COVID. Not good.

The Cards ran the Rams off the field in LA and humiliated them a few weeks ago but somehow the Rams win last night on the road with several players out with COVID. Unreal. A good reason not to bet on these games. The Rams D including Aaron Donald finally showed up. Cooper Kupp was a beast and Stafford was throwing daggers.

Told you not to give up, but I do see your issues from time to time with Donald; when the Cardinals went for it on 4th and goal, he blew through the line and had the guy dead to rights but just whiffed............and he waltzed into the end zone, how he whiffed on that, I have no idea.

Again; best of luck, the NFC is going to be a playoff war..............

OBJ has been added to the Rams growing COVID list. They have closed their practice facility and are meeting "remotely" due to the outbreak. Fortunately, they play the Seachickens next week (assuming there is even a game).

65 NFL players on the COVID list in the last two days. You have to wonder at some point if they start rescheduling games.
