N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

Looking forward to the Rams-Ravens game. Big game for both teams with the Rams on the verge of winning their division and the Ravens trying to stay in the playoff hunt. I was at the game a couple years ago in LA when the Ravens humiliated the Rams on MNF. Hoping for some payback but a desperate team playing at home is a dangerous game. Not sure if Lamar Jackson is going to play but the Rams D has finally shown up these last few weeks. Sony Michel is also giving the Rams a running game taking the pressure off Stafford who has been shaky.

Doug, believe it or not, will be cheering for the Rams, I know that seems almost impossible, but I will be. Then I hope you beat them up good so that Big Ben can get a win on his final game next week against the Ravens, that would be a fitting end.

On another note, did anybody see the moronic rant from former Ravens Bart Scott (who is and always was irrelevant)??? What a goof. He is crying about the Bengals running up the score...............hello...............just what exactly has John Harblow done everytime in his entire career he has had the chance??? I mean, C'mon Man, you just can't make this crap up.

Adding Stats regarding Bart Scott and his relevance

Ravens Career 2004- 2009
Record against Bengals - 4 Wins, 8 Losses - in my book, that means you got your behind handed to you twice as much as you won. Simple math is sometimes lost...................that is his lifetime record equals *** kicking.

Yeah...............................This is a common occurrence that happens with the Ravens Organization - "losing touch with reality and facts"

Funny how the season began with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers getting trounced and KC looking awful for several games. Now they likely finish as the top seeds in the NFC and AFC. I wouldn't want to play TN when they get Henry back or Miami in the playoffs, though. Wide open this year.

If the Ravens ever need to change their name “The Hypocrites” is appropriate.

They can have an official team banner that reads “It is right when we do it, but if anyone else does the same it is wrong….”

Tamps Bay's Arians already has that trademarked...

Local Fox station here is covering the Deadskins and Eagles game today instead of LA-Baltimore. Good grief. Thank goodness for the NFL Red Zone.

Thank God for the Red Zone, what a tremendous idea.

I wonder what Arians is going to say about AB's meltdown today; "Three times the charm; he's a nice fella, we'll give him another shot."

Huge win by the Rams. Stafford had another shaky game with three TOs including a pick six but the D saved his bacon. McVay almost blew it at the end by not running the ball on first and goal to run the clock down before scoring. Instead the Rams pass on first down for a score and give the Ravens a minute to get into FG position with a kicker who has hit from 60 plus yards.

Ravens another 1 point loss....that's 4 of 5 losses by a total of 5 points, this season has been one for the books, a short few weeks ago 8-3, number 1 seed...fast forward to today 8-8, basically out of any playoffs, every team deals with injuries, Covid-19, etc...but can't remember a season with so many starters out throughout the Season, oh well, not our year, heal up, good draft, and look towards 2022 season

With the season only a month or so away here's my thoughts on the AFC North...the Bengals are still to young with a banged up Burrows as well as no offensive line and will be the bottom team again this year, I think father time is playing against Big Ben and the Steelers who also lost some talent in free agency, which brings us to the Browns and Ravens....I think both teams will be on each other's heels all season and the division title will come down to the 2nd match up late in the season for the AFC North title...hoping my Ravens stay healthy and Covid-19 free this year!!! Should be a interesting season.

August!!!🤣🤣 couldn't have been a worse prediction!! Bengals win the North, Browns, Steelers fighting for 2nd place, my Ravens in the cellar ...wow, I did get one thing correct, a interesting season for sure!!

know you are a diehard Ravens guy, but there is something rotten going on with Lamar and the Ravens. There is local speculation that an injury has been hidden for 6 - 8 weeks and Harbaugh has been using to try anything to salvage games by having other team's thinking he is playing. Local news is starting to go after him, I have no idea or any insight to the validity of it, just found it interesting. I can't imagine if he is questionable at all that he plays next week (if you are thinking about the future) as I am pretty sure the only significance for either team in next week's game is it is Big Ben's last one. They both blew a lot of chances this year. Regarding the Ravens, when you have luck, you look great, when it runs, this is what you get. I don't think either the Ravens or the Steelers have ever been really in the run this year. Other teams are much deeper and that is proving to be a deciding factor.

I thought about this weeks ago, as Lamar kept getting on some type of sick list?? Then his back?? It has been something constantly since week 3, not sure how all things will shake out in 2022 with Jackson's contract but sure as hell hope they do not sell the farm to buy the cow as we Virginia folk say!!! Far as big Ben, he deserves to go out on his terms, he's earned it....thorn in my side for many a year but always admired his toughness and grit.

On another note, looks like there is a lot more to the Antonio Brown story that is coming out today. Obviously, goes without saying, the way he left the field is nutso and he has seriously lost it upstairs IMO. That said, he was on the injury list for past week and was questionable going into the game. SO, if during the game, he indicates all is not well and he doesn't want back in b/c he feels he is not 100%, then Coach Arians tells him get in or get out, something seriously wrong here. Again, I think there is no excuse for how he blew up and left the field, that is borderline psycho, he needs help for sure, but I thought Coaches are supposed to use better judgement when someone is injured? Something is rotten down there too.

I don't have a clue about the Antonio Brown circus (or much interest). Just about anyone could see that disaster coming. With that said, Brown is a creation of the modern NFL/football celebrity sports culture. A pampered guy by fans and coaches from the time he first caught a football, paid a mint, and told there were no consequences for his actions because he was special. Didn't he start attending practices in Pittsburgh in a helicopter? So it's humorous to hear all the NFL talking heads losing it on ESPN. He is like Frankenstein's monster returning to torment his creators.

Tom...
glad to see Big Ben win his final game at Heinz...
fans deserved that...gonna miss him...
defense went crazy last night too...
10 sack...11 QB hits...
amazed Mayfield even scored 2 TD's with TJ using him as his personal tackling dummy....
