N.F.L. 21-22 Season (2 Viewers)

Time to pick em....going with my heart and the AFC North

Bengals 27
Rams 24

Anything can happen in these playoffs, but the Rams are the better team. Their time is now or never. They will get pressure on Burrows and maybe able to run the ball. Big game for Akers. Five sacks and two turnovers. So I'm going with:

Rams 30
Cincy 17

special privileges for the NFL...
the police knew that Kamara was the suspect through videotaping of the incident...
showed up at the game before it started...
but waited til it was over to arrest him...

https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl-police...fore-pro-bowl-but-let-him-play-143508733.html

IF the allegations are proven true which is going to be easy if what is printed is correct as there is videotape which clearly corroborates the victim's story and clearly implicates Kamara, then I don't know how one he is not convicted criminally and two he is not NFL Done. In nearly any other profession, you commit a felony, you are done.

Point was made about a payoff - yes it could certainly legally happen here if the victim refuses to testify on his own behalf I would imagine. I personally think he should prosecute Kamara, then sue him civilly weighted behind a criminal conviction.

Mike - you are right, it is an ugly story the more facts that come out. Videotape identifies at least 8 direct punches/kicks from Kamara. 8 is a lot but that is only from 1 of the 4 involved in the beatdown. I can't see any path to legal justification for this fight by Kamara.

I saw some pics of the guy's face...no video yet...but his face was messed up...I think I read an article that said he was already unconscious when the stomping started...totally uncalled for...used to be when a fight was over...the winner laid off...now it's the bum rush stomping your teeth out from your crew...it's gonna be a Ray Rice penalty from the NFL...his career is over...suspended indefinitely...the civil suit should follow the criminal prosecution...it should be juicy...the video should be extremely graphic...I expect jail time for some of his entourage...people are sick of thugs on the street...

There are 2 incidents that all but guarantee that Kamara will be back in the NFL:

Kareem Hunt and more impactful to this weekend, Joe Mixon.

Good Luck to your Rams, in all honesty I just hope for a good game without a blow out which I think it will be a close game, ..how many times have the Rams been in the Superbowl??

Four. They won once when in St. Louis but never in LA. Lost to the great Steelers and twice to the Pats teams. The last time they won a championship in LA was 1951! Norm Van Brocklin to Tom Fears for a 73-yard TD to win the NFL championship. You can watch that game on You Tube. A real time capsule. Tom Fears is the only HOF player born in Mexico.

Parking spaces being sold for thousands of dollars at the Super Bowl. Even the regular parking is $60 and then charge each person $10 for the shuttle. We sure live in a time of great disposable income. Meanwhile LA is overrun with homeless people.

Just saw headline Dickerson may be skipping SB due to Rams offering him tix in the rafters? That is a WOW moment if true, why would he not be sitting in a box as arguably one of the Greatest Rams ever?

lol...I read that article...
he should be on the sideline as an inspirational motivational tool...or in a luxury box...
very ungrateful to offer to put him in the rafters...maybe an overlooked miscue by management...
he declined the "cheap seats" offer and said he would watch the game at home...

Dickerson has a long line of dustups with the Rams over the years. Some with justification and some without. He hated the new uniforms, for example. With that said, when I went to a game in LA a couple years ago he was standing outside the stadium signing autographs and taking pictures with folks. He was there at least an hour or more. You don't see many HOF players doing that. A whole generation of Rams fans were lost in LA when they moved the team to St. Louis in one of the dumbest moves in sports history. LA had no NFL team for many years. Dickerson has been a huge ambassador for the team since it returned to LA.

Not much for me to cheer for in the game, at best I think it is worth watching and I hope for a memorable commercial or two.

With that being said, Best of luck to Combat, I hope the Ram’s win.

The things to worry about as a Rams fan:

1) Cincy has been a great second half team. The Rams have been lousy in the second half.
2) Cincy was in last place in their division after week 9. The SB run reflects a red-hot team on a roll.
3) Cincy D has improved a lot. They shutdown Mahomes and KC. They can get pressure on Stafford.
4) LA has not been able to run the ball consistently in the playoffs. Akers needs a big game today.
5) Higbee is out. A big loss. The Rams are down to their 3rd string TE.
6) McVay has been terrible managing the clock. His challenges against the Niners were awful.

Things I like:

1) The Rams D. They can get pressure, stop the run game, and generate TOs. Cincy only put 27 on KC's terrible D. If the Rams can hold them to 20 or less, they should win.
2) Weddle has come out of retirement to settle down the Rams secondary. Led the team in tackles in the NFC championship game.
3) Stafford has got it done in clutch time.
4) Playing at home in 80-degree temps!
5) Donald and company are locked in on winning this game.
6) Ramsey may get the chance to defend Chase. That will be quite a matchup. Ramsey has gotten beat a couple times in these playoffs but he knows how to get under the skin of opponents. A big play waiting to happen.

that no call in the 2nd half by Higgins on Ramsey which allowed a reception and a TD...
was a terrible...horrible...atrocious missed call...
unforgiveable to miss that...
